Anyone had issues with FST in Phx?
My buddy has had his rzr there for 10 weeks now. He was told 3 weeks when he dropped it off and this week is now week 10. All he is having done is left front frame/suspension bars replaced. Got bent due to a palo verde tree jumping out in front of him.

Is this typical of FST?

I think its hardly appropriate to get on here and gripe about something thats not even your problem. You have given no information pertinent to the situation and its does no one any good for you to throw bad rep in a company's direction. That being said I have ZERO affiliation with with FST and personally have never had any dealings with them. Comments like yours do nothing but shy potential customers in a already tough economy. I think that forums are here to allow us a means to "educate" each others on experiences that we have had with vendors products and services that we have OURSELVES enlisted. But when the problem is not our own you make yourself look more like an arsonist, starting fires, than a good samaritan, calling them in and helping put them out. I'm sure your friend appreciates your concern and your intentions are genuine, I just think there's better means of resolution that tossing neg. rep around.

No this isn't typical of any shop... I know at UTV INC they make it happen on time...

Hmmmm---who'd you talk to then? Tory and Mack are the only ones hes talked to so maybe your telephone conversation wasnt a truthful one.
Not a frame swap. All parts needed were supplied minus the tubing and tabs. Was told about week 9 that they were short staffed and he was sorry it was taking so long but would have it ready in about a week.
Was told after week 9 that he needed a new radiator because it had a hole in it and it was bent. NO hole present. Took radiator to his buddys shop and got straightned. Tory told him he didnt need it back to continue because he had one at the shop he could use to mock up. Was told about a week it would be done. He called a week later to check status and Tory said he was waiting for him to bring radiator back? He reminded Tory of what he said and Tory said oh ya. Week or so later Tory said he needed front fenders. He took them to him and was left at that. week later called to get update. Tory said he needed bolts for fenders to weld on two tabs. REALLY? What fst has no bolts they could have used to line up the holes? Why didnt he get a call asking to bring the bolts down? Why is the CUSTOMER having to call every week to ask what the status is.
Doesnt matter how busy they are now. At the time he droped it off he was quoted no more than 3 weeks. A courtsey call would have been nice - oh say week 4 or week 5 or week 6 or week 7 or week 8 or week 9 or week 10 or even week 11.
Come on now. I know some of you may have used them in the past and maybe friends with him but REALLY? 11 weeks and never did he call the customer EXCEPT to return his call.
Gimme a break guys.:rollfinger::rollfinger::rollfinger:

I must dis agree. I am the owner logged on with my bset friend here. He is like a brother. I asked him to post everything that has been said here!
Every word has been 100% truthful. I own the rzr and I am pissed!
NO matter what the situation is it should NOT take this long nor should Ihave to go this long without any updates from the shop. I have to call every 2 weeks. AGAIN I have to call.
Terrible service and follow through with FST. I had very hi hopes and was excited to use them. Sad its gone so bad.
I will update you all once it is complete and how it was finally handled.

I still don't see how posting bad press is helping your cause..I'm sorry you are frustrated, believe me I have been there. I wasn't calling your friend a liar, just suggesting that he may catch more flies with honey than piss and vinegar. Having your friend post information like this is like me calling my best bud to the outside of the bathroom door and telling him how horrid the smell was and then instructing him to make sure that the world's largest community of "enthusiasts" all knew how bad of a stink I had just found myself in the mist of. The end result is the same... nobody wins. Bad products and service will speak for themselves, everyone can spot a turd from across the room without pointing and screaming from the new guys in the corner. My .02 is get through it the best you can (try rocking back and forth), get up wash your hands of the situation, and get back to the party you came here for in the first place. Moral of the story... Chit Happens!

Appreciate your 2 cents however if you look at original post I was asking if anyone else had bad experiance with this shop. Then was asked a ton of questions from other forum members, which were answered truthfully. Never called anyone anything just stating that the promise has been unanswered tenfold. I suggest if you feel different take a few hours and read a book called "walk in my shoes"
Hands are getting washed this week and am open to suggestion on what shop in phx can finish in a reasonable time.
Not sure of exact state it is in right now for it has been a couple weeks since last seen.
Been great chatting with you but unless you have a better solution please keep personal feelings to self.

"I suggest if you feel different take a few hours and read a book called "walk in my shoes""

Is this the suggested reading?

Amazon.com: Walk in My Shoes (9780143002314): Alwyn Evans: Books: Reviews, Prices & more

Or is it this one? There is a lot of books that are titled this way...

Amazon.com: Walk In My Shoes, Things Happen to the Best of Us (9781434393395): Destry Dokes: Books: Reviews, Prices & more

Unlike you I was not being sarcastic...only offering an suggestion from someone who has witnessed countless threads of mud slinging posted and never one truly positive outcome occur as a result. I hate to hear of bad experiences with companies in our backyard also. So we agree to disagree... no worries. But if you don't want people to comment and bring there two cents to the table perhaps a public forum isn't the best place to ask questions? Good Luck in getting your build done soon. This weather is too nice to waste.

Sorry but I respectfully disagree. Unfortunately it takes some bad press to shed some light on a situation that should have been handled properly from the start. All of us are busy and expect when we pay for something to get it back as promised in a reasonable time frame....if something is keeping that from happening its typically in the best interest to keep the customer informed.

As a customer no one should have to chase down a vendor/shop for status updates and ride them to get the work done. Whether or not chit happens, sometimes it takes a little nudge (in this case some "bad press") to get the ball rolling. Happy customers purchase again, unhappy customers purchase again from someone else and tell everyone that will listen about their bad experiences.
