EPS turns right by itself

2021 Turbo S dynamix being used as a donor to build a tube chassis. Now that we have assembled the machine into the new chassis it automatically turns right by itself when the key is powered on. We have tried two eps units both doing the same thing. Also the ride command screen is showing the steering indicator all the way to the right.
Does the unit need to be flashed with a digital wrench now or does anyone have any other suggestions?

May be a stupid question but do you have a speaker mounted anywhere near the steering column ? The magnet can interfere with the eps. Can-am has had some people with this problem due to speaker placement . Haven’t heard or rzr doing it and I’m sure you don’t, seeing this is a custom tube chassis but figured I’d ask .

No speakers in this unit. I really have no other ideas at the moment other than reading something about using the Polaris digital wrench system at a dealer to reset the unit. Does that sound logical? This machine needs to leave for Moab in a few days and doesn't have time to be sitting at the dealership if there is anyway to avoid doing so.

Definitely sounds logical . Because on the can-am the fix is exactly that . Those all seem too turn to the left and only way for them to be fixed is too be calibrated at the dealer. I guess any kind of interference with the unit can cause this. I would call the dealer and ask them if they can squeeze it in . Shouldn’t take 15 minutes if they get it in.

@Smithco

This problem has been mentioned here on the forum before...I believe you are going to need to take it to the dealer so they can calibrate it with the Digital wrench

You’ll have to take it to a dealer to be calibrated with the dynamix. Or you could try unhooking it from the wheel and rack centering it on the dynamix screen then putting it back together. Any idea where I can get a power steering unit for one?

Just an update for anyone that may have a similar problem.

After having the eps in and out of the machine several times it started working as it should on it's own. I did still take it to the dealer and have it calibrated to be sure I didn't have trouble after hauling it all the across the country in the few days afterwards. 500 miles later it is still working as expected.
