Our shelves are stocked up, and we're ready
to put some product in your hands!

We're taking a page out of the high school year book
for the next couple weeks, and running an all-out
popularity contest, with BIG CASH PRIZES!

We're giving out gift cards that will take a healthy dent
out of any of our RZR upgrades, or other great products!

1st Place - $1000 | 2nd Place - $500 | 3rd Place - $250

Here is how to play, and how to win:

1st: Respond to this thread in a single post, with no more
than 3
of your best pics of your RZR in action or posing.
(RESIZE people! we're adults here, and its not that hard)

2nd: Tell us the love story with your RZR... Who talked you
into buying it, in what ways have you abused it, in what
ways has it abused you... and your wallet, etc.

3rd: Tune in 10 days from this post, and we are going to
launch a week-long poll thread for the ego-boosting,
or self-confidence-destroying lack of votes to roll in ;-)

The max number on the poll is 35, so if there are more entrants
than that, we're going to pick who makes the cut, and who has to
surrender their weapon to the judges (FiF!). The judges like a good
story, make my sales office laugh so hard they have to put someone
on hold, and rowdy pictures are worth at least a thousand words.

Finally, and most importantly....
Get your friends to vote for you!
We're going to be making a couple social media blasts
throughout, so there could be a lot of eyes on your rigs...

Aaaaaaaand Go!

Hmm I'll play but it's gonna be a long post with no real action shots but I think it makes for a good story at least with some carnage:

Had a perfectly good, mostly stock 2010 RZR4 800 Robby Gordon edition, but needed more power so I traded straight across for this behemoth ('11 XP900):

After about 9 hours of combined discussion, trade, test driving on both ends, BS'ing and the round trip itself, I didn't even have it home for an hour before the s**t hit the fan for me. A buddy and I took it out in the river near my house and rode for about 20 minutes, then boom it died and came to a stop. It smelt like burnt rubber so I figured it was the belt. Another buddy with his little bone stock Honda Pioneer 700 comes and pulls me out and tows me back home, about 5 miles. I get it home, pull the cover and sure enough the belt is in about 20 pieces and some water inside. I assumed cold water + hot belt = boom. I order a new belt from Hunterworks, see a quick video on how to install but don't pay enough attention to something critical. I rotate the primary back and forth and finally get it on, not realizing I'd just thrown the timing out of whack. I put the cover back on, starts but wont stay idling without throttle, just seems "off." I decide taking it for a little spin is a good idea (wrong), and make it about 50 feet from the house when it really goes "BOOM" and dies instantly. Turns over but won''t start so we tow it back to my shop. I research and post on the forum, get some great advice and realize what has happened. I pull the valve cover to find the intake cam snapped in half and the exhaust cam end sheered off, pull the head and the PTO piston has a gouge in it, valve bent to 90 degrees and pushed up into the head, another bent valve, etc.

I find a used head rebuilt on the forum, pay for it but end up getting scammed out of $450. Luckily I got refunded after PayPal ruled in my favor (user was banned). I talk to Ken (roguedriver) multiple times and he's awesome with advice and help and only about an hour away. Fast forward a couple of months I finally have all the parts acquired after waiting on the dispute, waiting on other parts, etc. Ken does the valve job on my new head and I'm ready to roll. Finally put it all back together to the tune of $2k+ all because I wanted to play in the water some and didn't pay attention how to properly install the belt and NEVER turn the primary clockwise.. a costly mistake.

Finally here it is a couple weeks ago after a good ride, crawled up on my buddy's Can-Am just to prove that Polaris > Can-Am.

I'm in- Had an 2016 XP 1000 with some minor mods and loved it.
Problem is, so did the wife and kids so taking the family of 4 out was difficult. Last year I decided to upgrade to an '18 XP4 HLE and have recently started modding to better suit the riding conditions here in Southwest FL (Wet & Muddy). Nothing better than being able to take the whole Family out for some Trail riding & a little fun in the mud. With all that being said, We are expecting Child #3 this January so my next upgrades will have to include a bench seat in the back.

The family mobile
We have a rzr 1000 xp4 with a Bump seat in the back so our three boys can all fit. We go to sand mountain pismo beach Cisco grove and the rubicon . It truly is a family vehicle that let’s us explore so many different places and keeps our boys in the outdoors. We camp with cousins and friends raising our boys the best we can.We have some minor upgrade and are very impressed so far.

Here is our story,
I am a Navy Veteran of 14 years and volunteer regularly at a nonprofit charity Warfighter Made to help Vets from all services. At the charity, there are programs supported by Polaris we use to help vets with all kinds of service-connected disabilities get a break from there day to day activities using adrenalin therapy. One of the services offered is a 100% free trip to Glen Helen short course track using the Polaris provided UTV’s outfitted with hand controls. These cars allow amputee’s to Jam around the track and at least for one day all of their disabilities take a back seat to the comradery of our group and the adrenalin from speeding around the track. Polaris also allows the charity to discount UTV’s to selected service members with significant disabilities. This is how my wife and I were able to purchase out first UTV.

As a longtime fan of UTV’s my wife and I were completely ecstatic when we found out we were approved to get our first UTV. We purchased a Turbo 4 seat RZR. We went on a few rides with our families and were having the time of our lives. Then one day our great fortune came to a screaming halt when our car was destroyed with only a few hundred miles. I was literally less than 100 yards from my father’s house when another 4 seater RZR came around a blind corner and completely trashed both cars. Luckily, my wife and I had just registered our RZR in AZ and a requirement is insurance. Our car was covered and replaced but it tore me up. I spent a few days in the hospital with multiple bruised ribs, jacked up lung, and banged up legs.

After about a year of recovery and multiple vendors, stepping in to help with discounted parts our second new RZR has been a great addition to us. We have continued out support with Warfighter Made and using our RZR to help at events with Veterans. We have about 2,000 miles on the car now and many more to go. We recently bought some of your radius rods since the rocks have gotten the better of them. Thanks to Dan for meeting up with us at the Pomona off-road expo to deliver them.

A gift card from Ruff Stuff would put us on track with making the front of the car as beefy as the rear.

Thanks for the opportunity.
Respectfully,
Bryan

Hello! Cool contest!

My wife and I just got our RZR XP1000 a couple months ago and we love it. Early this year we bought a couple Honda ATV's and went out for a few good times before I totaled mine rolling it off some switchbacks.(I'm good) Long story short I was insured and had roll over protection. Got my payment after a month and headed to the local powersports store that weekend thinking I was going to buy a new Grizzly SE and walked out with a new 2019 RZR XP1000. My wife and I are really happy with it and our decision to move to SxS's. We have always loved riding dirtbikes/atv's as it let's us unwind together on our weekends off and rip it up and enjoy the great outdoors together. We are learning new areas in our beautiful state of WA but and can't wait to take the RZR to Glamis for some dunes some day, maybe Camp RZR 2019? Fingers crossed. :)

My last ride was a Polaris ACE but obviously wouldn’t fit the family and my kids (ages 5+8) are to the point where they really want to go. So I convinced the wife to let me buy this 900s-4. On the first day I bought it I accidentally left the half door open while pulling it into the garage, yup I damaged it without even 2 full miles on the machine.

On our first real adventure to Silver Lake Sand Dunes I had to nick name my first RZR the dream machine. My kids pass out on it almost every time we go out. I’m not sure if it’s really that smooth or maybe I’m just a bore with my driving.

Took her to Drummond Island next only to accidentally take her on the hardest trails there because my map didn’t indicate level of difficulty. Some goof even switched some trail arrows around. Needless to say, I didn’t think I’d ever find my out of there without extensive damage to my machine. The rocks were so sharp I really caused some pre-mature tire wear. And spent hours only traveling a few miles.

We did find some cool spots only accessible by 4x4, my kids still slept to and from locations but really had fun otherwise. So now when they ask to go riding I figure they’re probably just sleepy.

Sleeping kids don't complain ;-)

Fun for the whole family is the name of the game, glad to hear everyone is having fun!

Well I started out with a 2013 800s RZR which I had for two years. I met my fiance in the ol' 800 and we went out in our first date together with it. I figured if she'd go on a second date after that ride she'd be a keeper! lol. We've had over a few times in it and absolutely loved it but for some unknown reason I felt the need for more power :devil Saw the generals and loved how they felt and the power they had. So I was in the general family for a little over a year and ended up asking the better half to marry me on one of our trips up in northern WI. Then about a month after that it went through the ice at our farm. While I'm dang lucky to survive that from being stuck under the ice for about a minute it took an additional 5 hours to get it out and back to the garage. Evaluated what was damaged and I ended up getting a 2018 XP1000 RZR. Love the suspension on it and just fits my overall riding style better. Hoping this one stays around for a few years but I do like the 2019's! Although my wallet says I should probably wait until the wedding is over and build a new house haha

After many years/miles of 3 wheeler / 4 wheeler riding Hondas only, meeting my wife on those machines, getting married (still on those machines), young kids now demanded a change from the manual clutch sport quads. The wife and I decided to buy a used 2010 RZR 800 in 2012 with the plan that one of us would ride one of the kids in the RZR while the other rode the other kid on a 250EX that I picked up cheap. That worked well for about 1 ride! But we had to wait to purchase a second RZR after everyone ended up loving it. Found a second, very clean 2008 RZR 800 in 2014. Now we were set to ride comfortably and safely with the kids. Trip to Taylor Park Colorado in 2015 had the KIDS driving US most of the time in both RZRs! Then 2016 rolls around and since both kids (girls) now really enjoy riding, we figure perhaps we should get an ACE for them to share. I mean it's an individual's machine and has a roll cage for safety. Picked up a new 2016 ACE 900 SP during the Abernathy blow-out sale in August of 2016. Never rode an ACE before. Well, EVERYONE ending up loving the single seater and the performance!!! So 3 weeks later we drive another 1200 mile round trip back at Abernathy to pick up a second ACE 900 SP!! Now the girls are setup for LIFE! At this point I have sold the 2010 RZR 800. That leaves me and mom in the 2008 RZR, which was OK. But we were already wanting to upgrade from the 800. Then this year (2018) we purchased a new 2016 RZR 1000 S for mom and I!

After 21 years of marriage and 2 wonderful daughters, what began with my wife and I meeting on 300EX's at a local ride spot has developed into a family that rides together, and we all love it.

Forgot to mention a fond memory I have from first RZR trip to Wolfpen Gap. My 10 year old (at the time) daughter was riding with me in the RZR as we were jumping the erosion levees on the trials. I will NEVER forget her giggling and laughing as we made those jumps!! Making memories is what it's all about!

I didn't think I needed a SxS. I thought they were overpriced and not worth it the money... Boy was I wrong. I had a Polaris Sportsman quad and had an axle failure on the first day of a long weekend trip at Hatfield & McCoy. I didn't have spare parts and no one local could help me out unfortunately... I did not want to turn around and make the 3 hour trip back home so I decided to salvage the weekend and rent a RZR from Mark @ Crazy Mountain Cycles in Bluefield, WV... As soon as I pulled out of his lot I was hooked. I can never go back to riding a quad now. I cannot believe the difference and amount of fun that owning a SxS over a quad has made. Plus now I am able to bring a passenger safely with me. It is worth every penny I have spent!

I know I'm too late to be in for the draw, which I'm ok with, but I figured I'd share my story and a couple of photos anyway.

My wife and I started developing an acreage from a greenfield plot a few years back. The land wasn't ideal for farming, so we managed to get a great deal on it. After moving into the house after a year of construction, I cut some trails and picked up a little two seater go kart that needed some work. After doing a full top-end rebuild, new ignition coil, cam, etc., it was up and running, and our three boys and I began exploring our 80 acres of wetland, trees, and open grassland. A few months later the go kart was abruptly stolen, and our exploration stopped dead. Insurance wouldn't cover it, and there were no leads on where it ended up. But we had the exploration bug, so, a few months later, I tracked down a reasonably priced 2012 XP 900 that needed a fair bit of work. After fixing a few things up, we were back to the races and loving the freedom of ripping down the trails. "Do a jump!" became a familiar call from the passenger seat. Unfortunately, it became apparent that the previous owner of the XP didn't maintain it, so more and more parts needed to be replaced on an ongoing basis. It's currently down for a new carrier bearing, but I endeavor to keep it up and running for those sunset rides with the family. We wouldn't trade those experiences for the world, and it always brings a smile to our boys' faces (and mine, of course).
