Engine codes

I bought a black pearl two weeks ago. And last night I took it out for a ride and my check engine light and power steering light came on and it shut down and would not crank after that. The codes it show on the the dash are: code 84, code 190 and code 520226. Has anybody else had this happen and what ended up being wrong with it?

Use the following procedure to display diagnostic trouble
codes that were activated during current ignition cycle
causing the MIL to illuminate. Diagnostic trouble codes
will remain stored in the gauge (even if MIL turns off) until
the key is turned off.
NOTE: If there is a diagnostic problem with the
power steering system, the power steering MIL will
illuminate and blink in place of the check engine MIL.
1. If the trouble code (s) are not displayed, use the
MODE button to toggle until “CK ENG” displays on
the information display area.
2. Press and hold the MODE button to enter the
diagnostics code menu.
3. A set of three numbers will appear in the information
area.
• The first number (located far left) can range from 0
to 9. This number represents the total number of
trouble code present (example: 2 means there are
3 codes present).
• The second number (located top right) can be 2 to
6 digits in length. This number equates to the
suspected area of fault (SPN).
• The third number (located bottom right) can be 1 to
2 digits in length. This number equates to the fault
mode (FMI).
4. If more than one code exists, press the MODE button
to advance to the next trouble code.
5. To exit the diagnostic mode, press and hold the
MODE button or turn the ignition key OFF once the
codes are recorded.

520226 is EPS CAN Communications,
Receive Error No RX Message for 2 Seconds

Might be loose wiring to/from the power steering unit.

190 error is
Engine Speed (This is applicable when the EPS module gets the engine speed
from the ECM)
Error in Engine Speed Computation
Received Engine Speed Has Error

84 error is
Vehicle Speed Signal Data Erratic or Intermittent (or missing)
Received Vehicle Speed Has Error

Ever find out what the issue was with this? Mine 2015 900s black pearl is doing the same exact thing. Rode it, washed it, parked it, now only getting codes. Won't turn over, no acc work, fuel pump won't kick on, won't do anything but light up the dash. Don't really want to take it to the dealer if I can fix it. Thanks

Under the driver's seat, take the cover off the relay box. Pull each relay and check for water/corrosion on the terminals. Blow it all dry. Replace any relays that are corroded. Check the back side of the ignition switch for same.

Check condition of the voltage regulator in front side of left rear wheel well; leaking any goop?

Looked at fuse box first.. Yea there is some mud around the fuse box but looks clean and dry inside the box. No blown fuses, no corrosion on any of the fuses or relays. Looked at regulator, again there is some dirt and stuff around it but no goo so to speak coming out of it. Checked the ignition switch as well all looked fine. Again this thing won't do anything except the dash cluster comes on when you turn the key. Can't jump it can't do anything with it. I would hate to just start throwing parts at it but I do t want to take it to the stealership either. I know something got wet. So would a bad ecu cause this? Oh and I removed the ground lugs in front of drivers side rear wheel and sanded them clean, as well as the power lugs under there as well. Thing has me stumped.

Anybody seen or heard of this before? It's got me stumped.. My light bars, winch, radio, nothing works. Even if I wire it straight to the battery. Seems like I got a bad chassis ground or a bad relay other than what's in the fuse box. Anyone know if there is another set of fuses somewhere or another relay somewhere other than in the fuse box?

Get a copy of the shop manual from Q-Ball's sig links and look into the wiring, see where that side of the fuse box gets power from.

Mine died on me about a mile from my truck while hunting in December. Long walk back thru swamp. Left my rzr ovenight.
Checked with my dealer. Was told that it was probably the relays under the driver seat, they suggested that maybe one was bad. I bought 3 new relays and a can of contact cleaner.
Next day, went back and pulled relays and sprayed contact cleaner. Installed new relays and fired right up.
Still under warranty, took it back to dealer and they worked over the contact points that the relys plug into. Relays were loose and sloppy going into the base.
That was 3 months ago and I have had no issues since.
Simple fix for me. I wish you good luck.

my 2020 turbos had all same problems and same codes, mechanic thought it was ecu he put ecu out of other turbo s in mine still no crank, dash lights come on, fuel pump still not kicking on , finally turned out rats have chewed a few wires out of my harness, since then I have put over a thousand miles no problems !
