2014 XP1000 dropped skids found three 1/8" ball bearings any idea where they might have come from. carrier brg no excessive play cany seam to find where they come from

have not drained any fluids yet just dropped the skid


The only place there are bearings that I can recall is the carrier bearing and the bearings in the transmission and front diff. I’m sure there’s some in the motor too. But without draining the fluid unless a seal is torn out there’s no way for the bearings to come out. All of those would result in oil leaking besides the carrier bearing.

Looks like a bb for BB gun. Were you riding around with a BB gun and maybe some bb’s fell out on the floor and worked there way down to the skid plate?

It’s probably muffler bearings. Change your blinker fluid infrequently, and that’s bound to happen.
