I installed a donaldson filter on the wife's RZR. She does not go through deep water, and we have routed her fresh air intake back to the original spot, but what do you do with the little plastic cap on the lid? That is the only part that would be temporarily be under water. Are there temporary water proof caps? She will never submerge the whole canister, but I worry about the little rubber lips on the lid. Thanks for your help.

some one said goto lowes or homedepot and get a rubber sewer pipe cap and clamp that it fits and seales it off for the crossings and can be removed for normall working

Use a balloon to temporarily cover the little rubber valve. Later the bright color will remind you to remove it.
