I had one on my 900. It didn't do anything as far as I could tell or feel.
You're not going to get much out of a 1000 anyway.
I even tried the dynojet power vision on my 1k and took it off. It's now a paper weight. Runs better stock.
An ecu flash will at least turn your fan on sooner and raise rpm and speed but still not much power to be gained
I added a fan over ride switch and can turn on the fan anytime I want

I’m not looking to add power just be able to adjust afrs from the rich conditions polaris puts them at and to monitor where at when switching between trail riding and dunes since it just Realizes on the tune from factory since my year didn’t have 02 from factory
I have a fan override switch already
