I want to switch out my stock 2009 RZR LE tires for 26" Bighorns on 12" wheels. What is the recommended width 12" rear and 9" front? Will I need wheel spacers to keep them from rubbing?

Thanks

I can also tell you I had 2" spacers on mine for about 2 miles. The fronts rubbed like a beach on full turns. There is post on here about heating the floor boards and I really didn't want to do that so I took them off.

So does anyone know if I put 26x12x9 bighorns on the front and 26x12x12 bighorns on the rear of a standard rzr, will I have problems with it rubbing the motor mount, firewall, shock, or anything else?

I will be running about the same set up as you. From what I have read and been told, if you run a 26x12x12 bighorn on stock rims you will def rub on the motor mount in the rear. You should be ok every where else. Just throw some spacers on just the rear and be done.

I am curious about the idea of running 26x9x12 bighorns all the way around. I have only noticed one or two people doing it and would like to see more pics of this set up. Maybe you should look that way if you do not want spacers.

Yes you will rub. This is the same setup i have and you will not even be able to get the right rear wheel bolted up unless you have spacers in the rear. I have nothing on the front and have no trouble at all. And if im thinking right i had to go with 1.5'' spacers the inch ones werent enuf

You may be able to find wheels with a different offset, which will give you more clearance. I purchased my tires and wheels from rocky Mountain ATV for about $645.00 with free shipping and no tax. I found a 10% discount coupon on line. ITP SS312 12x7 wheels and 26x12x9 Bighorns. You will need new lug nuts also since the ITPs have a narrower opening for the lug nuts. The price above included the lug nuts.

Sorry I don't mean to hijack, but FRBear is there any way you could take a good pic of the back from behind? I like the idea of the 9's all around but I do know they are more round as compare to the 12's (super flat). I had the 9s front and 12s rear on my brute force and loved them, but the 12s are definitely wide and flat haha.
