If you want to get a tune as well, the DynoJet Power Vision III allows you to view and clear codes. I bought mine used for $100 then bought a license for it which comes with a tune. Its a good option as a lot of code clearing devices almost cost as much from what I've seen in the past. It can let you disable a ton of the nannies that come on the car as well like the seat belt speed restriction, not starting unless in park or with the brake on, etc.

 

Hi Tricon, thanks for that, sounds like a good option. One of the Pro's run a stage 3 SuperATV tune, but all the rest are stock. We'll look into this option, but does it mean we will need to buy 5 licenses to be able to clear codes on any of the 5 buggies?

 

You will need to purchase tunes for each vehicle as you can't install 1 tune to multiple units

 

Call DynoJet, you might be able to read codes for multiple vehicles with one unit, I cant remember. But if you have to buy a tune, its not a loss, my Pro runs so much better afterwards.

 

The Dynojet PV pairs to one VIN# so you will need a tune license for each vehicle.

I'm like 80% sure before I bought a license I plugged it in and could read/clear codes. The tune was the only thing that was locked.

Well it seems DynoJet will be the go I'll see if I can get confirmation regarding reading and clearing other machine codes. Appreciate the help and suggestions so far.
