Diagnostic tool/scanner and code clearing options for Pro XP's

I'm in Australia, we are a group of about 3 x Pro XP's and 2 x RS1's that regularly go on rides. A lot of places we go are very remote in the outback, without any civilization near, so no Polaris dealers, or for that matter any mechanics.

We most depend on our own skills and abilities to repair and service our buggies if something goes wrong, we are all late 50's early 60's and have considerable experience among the group - with a few cable ties, wire and fencing pliers we can get almost anything going, but software is a problem, hence the post.

What are our options for a diagnostic code reading and clearing tool/software that we can buy? On our last trip one of the Pro Xp's burned a belt and we got the P0314 and P0302 Cylinder misfire codes. We replaced the belt but could not get the codes reset/cleared. The buggy entered limp mode, and that was the end of the trip.

Any help and guidance would be very much appreciated .

If you want to get a tune as well, the DynoJet Power Vision III allows you to view and clear codes. I bought mine used for $100 then bought a license for it which comes with a tune. Its a good option as a lot of code clearing devices almost cost as much from what I've seen in the past. It can let you disable a ton of the nannies that come on the car as well like the seat belt speed restriction, not starting unless in park or with the brake on, etc.

Hi Tricon, thanks for that, sounds like a good option. One of the Pro's run a stage 3 SuperATV tune, but all the rest are stock. We'll look into this option, but does it mean we will need to buy 5 licenses to be able to clear codes on any of the 5 buggies?
