Desertcraft filters are here!!!

Two years ago we set on a quest to develop the best air filter on the market. After several medias and independent testing we realized a combination of medias that met or surpassed the best the industry has to offer. Not only did we have the goal of offering the best filter on the market, we wanted it to be serviceable.

Having an extensive background in industrial facilities and manufacturing allowed us to think out of the box when it came to developing our filter. Severe duty filtration is nothing new in the manufacturing sector, protecting tight tolerance equipment such as turbine generators, compressors and alike is key to the longevity and extended service life. Knowing the investment that many make in their UTV's and the severe conditions that can be encountered, we wanted our customers to have the same protection that is afforded to high end industrial equipment.

While other companies concentrate on getting better flow numbers we concentrated our efforts on all out filtration! Please be cautious if a company states that their filter flows better than brand X. High flow comes at a cost, and typically equates to less filtration. If you're trying to shave a 1/10th of a second of your drag strip run then a high flow filter might be for you. If you are looking for a filter that provides superior filtration to protect your investment, then we would like you to consider our Severe Duty Desertcraft filter.

The Desertcraft filter is a dual component dry filter element that needs no special cleaners or oils. For a quick service excess dirt can be tapped off, and compressed air can be used from the inside out to further remove debris. For a deep clean, the element can be rinsed from the inside out with a garden hose, once its soaked simply spray a diluted solution of dish soap or Simple Green on the pleats and let soak a few minutes. Final rinse from the inside out and let dry completely before use.

Key Features......
 Industry leading combination of filter medias for superior filtration

 Dry element that can be serviced and needs no special cleaners or oils

 Stainless Steel exterior wire mesh support for a durable finish and unmatched strength (Most companies use no support or flat stamped steel with a painted finish)

 Internal fine wire mesh maintaining total integrity of the media layup (Went the extra step here)

 Only filter on the market that has a studded end and mounting bracket for a bullet proof / fail safe installation. (Brackets available as an option)

RZR XP1000/XPT/Turbo S Air Filter

So this one stops most of the fine dust from getting through? I got an s&b separator and seeing that the fine dust is still getting in. I have the Donaldson filter and a cover over it and still see the dust past the filter. Hoping to find something to stop the dust. Thanks, Steve

We test to sub micron levels, starting at .3 to .5 micron range. Our independent laboratory testing proved that our filter is 18% more efficient at that level.

Yep the trail is the same filter as the 900S
The optional bracket was born from racing. Simply a little peace of mind, we have seen the cover fail. Also for custom builds where the air box is deleted or just the lid. Sorry no discounts at this time.
Most efficient filter on the market!!! The competitors cleanable filter is not even close, and we are more efficient than the leading throw away filter. Test data to come........
Regards,
Most efficient and serviceable/cleanable filter on the market! We even beat brand "D" which is a one time use disposable filter.
Regards,
how does this compare to the R2C??
There is no direct comparison..... The competitor uses a single layer media.
The Desertcraft Severe Duty filter is a dual component (2 layer) media lay up. The proprietary lay up is like no other on the market. As for filtration we start testing at sub micron levels of .3 to .5 microns and work our way up to 5 to 10 microns. Here is a snapshot of our testing...

Desertcraft
Micron range/ Fractional efficiency %
.3 to .5 - 89.6%
.7 to 1.0- 99.6%
3 to 5- 100%

Competitor R (Cleanable)
.3 to .5- 71.6%
.7 to 1.0- 95.4%
3 to 5- 99.8%

Competitor S (Cleanable)
.3 to .5- 10.8%
.7 to 1.0- 30.8%
3 to 5- 91.1%

Competitor D (Non cleanable, Disposable)
.3 to .5- 75.6%
.7 to 1.0- 94.8%
3 to 5- 99.9%

As you can see our filter does very well at sub micron levels, beating the best by a large percentage.

If your looking for superior filtration that can be cleaned / serviced, our filter fits the bill. This is not an R2C, S&B or Donaldson. It was designed and developed utilizing a combination of the latest severe duty media for outstanding filtration and durability.
Regards,
How about one for the 900Xp, there is still a lot of us out there and will be for a long time.
That's a tough one, Worked with R2C to develop that filter and had a lot of rejects and problems. Once we got them worked out, they just couldn't deliver.

We actually made a nice set up for the XP900 using the stock filter in conjunction with our Super Seal Gasket, Foam Buddy Prefilter and Double Down Intake kit. Works great and have had several customers feed back that they get several hundred miles of service out of their stock filter and only service the Foam Buddy. You can find them at our online store....

I have your foam buddy, works ok, kinda messy to clean and it has to add some resistance to air flow. Would rather just have one filter.
Have you felt something? We have produced the "Foam Buddy" since 2012, but never had any one feel there is any added restriction. Did you get a lot of miles out of your filter?
