the solid axle really doesn't like asphalt roads...........it would be hard on tires and cv joints.

 

What if you upgraded axles and used a d o t aproved tire?
Or a flat track type of tire?

 

You can install DOT tires but don't replace axles unless there bad...

The tires are going to scrub in the rear on tight turns, other than that you'll be fine... Everyone and there brother ride them on the streets here in Arizona without any adverse effects or problems...

Brake the bank and the same with a spare tire carrier?

And when you say " scrub" do you mean like the rear will chirp like
A 4x4 with a locker?

Also what exhaust do you guys recommend? I'm leaning twords muzzys but I
Want it to be loud so.... Any brands I should stay away from or lean twords?

Here in Lewiston Idaho, quads and rzrs are street legal, and can be ridden on the road as long as you have a horn, a mirror, and the proper registration. My buddy Randy runs his 570 rzr almost everyday to work. He said it works awesome, and is great because then his wife can have the SUV. I need to get some Idaho tags on my XP so I can run around in ours. :ride:

 

I live in Twin Falls and was under the impression you can not drive on streets or highways. You have to have a restrictive license plate but it does not allow for street legality. I too have a horn but was installed as it is needed for certain rallies. Where did you get the street legal info from as I would be interested.

Yep. Drive mine daily to and from work and everywhere else! LOVE it. No issues on the street other than the weird looks, cat calls, thumbs up, and waves that I get from the other drivers!
