IIRC, No. They are different engines, not just a turbo bolted to the 1000XP engine

 

The cylinder will bolt on I currently have the xpt closed deck cylinder on my 1000xp. I can not tell you about head. Although it'd Stand to reason since the cylinder works the head would bolt on. Not sure about cam profiles or cam gears. In the aspect of valve interference or timing of engine.

 

Any issues with piston deck height? Was told it was less on turbo motors with lower compression. Confirmed the heads will work. Cams won't because of different firing order. Thanks for the feedback.

 

So the heads will interchange?? I just need to use my turbo cams? I'm fighting the same battle.

 

No, the cylinders are exact same minus the open deck vs closed. Only difference between them

 

Also don't forget XPT cylinders are only 925cc's wears XP 1000 are 999cc

Your talking cc. Bore is same size. It has different stroke to get the 925 vs 999
