Cutting out

2017 570S. Idles good and runs fine just putting around and while on the gas, but when I gas on it for any length of time and let off the throttle the rpm's drop way down and it starts hesitating and dies. I checked compression, and put a new spark plug in. The fuel is fresh and tank is full. No check engine light or codes. Is this a symptom of a faulty fuel pump, or something else? It only has 71 hrs, 492 miles on it. Thanks

Update....
There is a recall on some rzr's for a cover that snaps over the fuel pump to protect it. Well upon smelling gas and inspecting mine, I found the top of the fuel pump to be cracked. I ordered a new pump assy, $330, and installed it. I took the rzr in for the recall and upon getting it back found the issue of it cutting out on me. I saved the old fuel pump as the pump itself was not bad, so I swapped just the pump ends. Low and behold the rzr is back to running perfect.

When throttle and brake are applied simultaneously for more than a few seconds it triggers a C. E. L, sometimes the light won't come on but when this happens it will go into limp mode until the throttle is released. I realized he already found his problem. But for future reference this is a common issue. I'm a tech at Polaris and we see this a lot.

I think everyone that has ever owned a Polaris EBS car or atv has that same relationship. After many mess ups me and the ebs have now come to an agreement. I will keep it if it will quit trying to kill me. Really though when you finally learn what its going to do and what it wont its not very hard to control with gas and brake, and high range when descending steep and slippery terrain. If the ground is dry and not to gravelly, its the best thing since mothers milk.
