Always wondered what a hard full force rain storm would look like At Glamis.
I know the washes must fill right up and flow under the little bridges that hold the railroad tressels. Just can't imagine that much water there.
The few times I was there and it rained, not near enough water to flow out of the washes.
But a few days after, the whole valley was blooming with beautiful purple flowers.
In the area between the small dunes and the washes, kind of like a very well traveled valley trail area, was a total carpet of purple flowers. I think someone said it was the milk veach flower that we killed into endangered species. Well it was growing fine right where hundreds of tracks ripped thru the valley area. ?
