Hey guys, I don't post much on here but I do tons of searching, reading, and research and when I come across a good thing I feel compelled to spread the good word. That said, I just recently made some purchases through Jim at Fix My Toys :redrzr: and the experience was great. You can't beat their prices, he provided excellent customer service and the shipping was super fast. I PM'd him through the forum and he got back to me right away with quotes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

examples possibly? I do everything I can to keep us as competitive as possible. No I do not nail every sku 100% of the time but we do a pretty good job in keeping things pretty good in relation to other sellers. In the event something is out of line I don't think I have ever refused to match or beat a shipped price in 10 years of doing this. I'm still getting hate mail from other Polaris dealers over our recent cyber week pricing... I find "way overpriced" a little bit of stretch as a generalization?

Chris has been excellent. He delivers on that he says he will deliver on and their pricing beats most places out there. Fixmytoys goes above and beyond and this is from both my and my brothers experiences with them. Some people just either dont take time to say something to vendor or just cant be pleased but either way supporting facts are generally needed in a blanket statement of I find them overpriced compared to many online stores...what stores or items are we talking about. Power steering we bought was 1300 msrp paid like 550 or something for it so I have found the opposite of your statement to be true personally.

I've made a couple small purchases from fixmytoys. I think one was a price mistake or not updated but they honored it.
But both items were on ebay
I just went to their website and I have to say it's annoying.
A lot of things that I would look at are "see price in cart".
Then you wait.
Then you add to cart.
Then you delete
Sorry, just not my thing.

Unfortunately the annoying "add to cart to see price" is due to Polaris rules. We are not allowed to advertise any price below MSRP on any current product except for certain times of the year during an amnesty period. Violating this can result in losing your franchise.

I have an awesome staff, they work their butts off... most importantly they are people who all really care. And we want to attract that by offering health, 401k, profit sharing, ect... I'd rather be more expensive and offer that, then hire new people every other week.

Again, that's not to say we don't make mistakes... I did a lot of head shaking during the cyber week sale. But we are learning and next year that will be more smooth lol

yeah there is a total of over 180,000 unique Polaris skus... because i offer a low flat rate shipping price on my website I have a formula that prices things based on my cost and anticipated shipping costs less 8.95 that I charge... typically a cap is placed at msrp unless over sized. I don't really get into the habit of monitoring competitors because in general I would like to think we are typically providing better service that will make up for a few bucks.

Either way I have urged for years, if I'm out of line on a price just shoot me a PM and I will look or have my staff look at it. Many times a competitor will have a belt 5 dollars cheaper or something and then charge 18.95 to ship it or something silly like that. Sometimes my pricing algorithm just results in a higher price. To check 180,000 skus against 30 places you can order OEM parts from is just not something worth trying to accomplish.

Regardless, we are far from perfect... but we get better at what we do every day. If we were perfect, I would already be retired ;)

haha I live in the office, has everything I need except a bed.... unfortunately lose interest in the NFL after my Lions are done, something that tends to happen around the same time every year lol.

I personally know Chris's staff at Ball Equipment in Richmond, Mi and the business that he runs. I've bought several machines from them in the past and including trading in my Sportsman 1000 for my Rzr 900. They have gone above and beyond for me over the years and for that I am truly grateful. I would not hesitate to do business with them again in the future!

for the guys that want to complain about FMT, let me ask you this..
how many of the "other guys" will go out of their way to help you out when your in a bind?

my own experience with FMT has proven that they are a top notch outfit.
last year I had a friend bring me a RZR that needed some normal wear and tear items and some other broken parts.
I called FMT and asked the rep. about making an order and during our conversation I told her that I was very pressed for time and that we were leaving for camp RZR in less than a weeks time. I also asked about overnight shipping.
not only did the rep go out of her way to go into the warehouse and hand pick the parts I needed she also verified to me verbally that they did indeed have everything I needed and that she had the parts in her hand! most places would have just shipped out what they had and I would have been guessing what was missing or had to go to another shop to find the other parts.
then the Rep. went into the shipping department to findout about overnighting the parts and the cost of over ninghting them...

long story short I had all the parts I needed except for a couple of small items I picked up locally in less than 24 hours!!!
hows that for service???

oh yeah the guy who owns the RZR that I had to fix was the owner of the 40ft. gooseneck that hauled my 2 RZRs his RZR a 4wheeler and terex to brimstone..so if I couldn't have had his running there would have been 5 less people there for Camp RZR...

I ordered 4 axle clips from partzilla. A week later I received an email saying they were delayed. This happened 2 more times before I finally cancelled my order. I ordered them from FMT and had them 4 days later. I wish I could remember to buy from them the first time every time. Thanks Chris

Just got off the phone with them about an online order I placed and they were super helpful as I needed one more component (realized it after I ordered). Since this part was a bit obscure, they helped make sure it was indeed the part I needed, which I appreciate. Anyway, I have purchased from them before, so I already knew they were great to deal with.

Well, I know I'm gonna sound like a broken record, but I just can't say enough good about Fix My Toys. Again, Jim has PM'd me and gone out of his way to make sure I get the lowest price possible.

If you haven't tried them... you should! My new "go to" for RZR parts and accessories.
