i was reading on a page on google something about taking a plastic bushing out of the pulley that will give another 5-10 mph but might cause the rzr to go thru belts faster. has anyone done this?

Yeah there is a plastic bushing or sleeve in the primary clutch that can be removed. You could use a hot knife or there is a really good thread on here about how to take the clutch apart and remove it. I know about 3 people that have done this and have had no issues at all. They are all very happy with the out come.

it's only on the 08's.....and is easy to remove.....and nothing but your top speed will change... no power loss or change all it is is a speed limiter that stops the sheves from going all the way closed... polaris removed it and was still useing the same part number clutch...so any rumer you have been told is not true.
