Had two 800, never a problem with the OEM. Would stick with that if I was doing it. Might go to Hunterworks.com and see what Todd offers. He is THE clutch expert. Call or email off the website.

Its gonna depend on what you're trying to achieve. Also what tires, size, weight? Type of riding? Any engine mods? Stockish size tires, stick works fine. But I preferred my Dalton clutch kitted setup. Was a bit more snappy and belt grip was better. Just my opinion.

Never mind the idiot that could not answer your question, the world is full of some that shouldn’t even own a machine. The best advice would to get ahold of Hunterworks he will ask you the appropriate questions for your specific machine/modifications Without the slack back. We are here to help and I’m glad to do so. Shoot me an email and copy and paste this in it with answers

I have to type the following so much every day for different reasons when helping people with clutching and making a decision on how best to help them, so now I copy and paste this, if some of this we have already answered, please just put answers again so it is one place. Based on your answers, I can give advice to what best works for you.

What is the vehicle?
Are these OEM clutches?
Model year?
Two or four seat?
Miles?
Tire Size?
Do you have a clutch kit, if so what brand?
Fast or Slow riding and if actual rock crawling say?

Thanks
Todd

I only see one ahole in this thread. Newbie came here to learn. You only taught him that there are internet bullies. Go kick sand somewhere else.

I’m running stock clutch with Hunterworks belt. 31” tires. Rock crawling and some mud. Does fine. What symptoms are you experiencing that makes you think you need an aftermarket clutch kit?

You should add that you have gear reduction in your portals. I can add that 30's without gear reduction and stock clutch can slip the belt with aggressive throttle. Its all in how you drive. I'm running a Duraclutch now and honestly it doesn't let the engine get into the shift rpm but its worth the trade off for my slower trail riding. Smooth take off and engine braking all the way down to idle. My Dalton equiped oem clutches and Hunterworks belt did great had the best seat of the pants power that I have tried. I just wanted the crawling ability of the Duraclutch.

I ran the 31 inch tires for a while before I put portals on it. Never noticed any slippage, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t some.
