How the hell do yall do it? ive had mine out 3 times in the last year and it has permadirt evreywhere. The only way to possibly get it even remotely near factory clean is a complete stripdown and a wire brush. The burnt on mud/dirt on the exhaust almost doesnt come off at all. The nooks and crannies are impossible. im running a white S, if color matters.

it has permadirt evreywhere.......
Good word.

When my XP was new I prepped all the black plastic with a quality plastic protector. Who really knows for sure right? I thought no way can permadirt stick. I have a good fighting start.

wrong! I just spent (3) days on and off cleaning all this stuff and starting over. My rebuild will take a while and just want the black plastic nice even if its in a pile.

Only way to get it "fully" clean is to remove the side plastics that stretch from wheel to wheel (not the hood and bed, although it makes life easier but more time consuming) and the skid plate. Dirt sticks in the frame rails, where plastic meets the frame, etc. I'd remove the interior tub, too, but I think I would be full-on OCD then. :)

+1 on Billnvic's cleaning methods. He is the man when it comes to a brand new looking machine. The first pics I saw of his I figured he didn't ride much but then I saw his video's, his ride is completely covered in mud every time. Amazing.

I use Mean Green cleaner on every thing, just soak it down let set (but not dry) pressure wash off. I may have to do this a couple of times, then wash it with a good rag and let it dry. Then I use 1 can of WD40 on the under side of the fenders and 2 cans of pledge on the top side of the fenders, I don't wipe it off untill ready to ride next. This works for me. I don't think mine compares to Billnvics tho.

It is kind of like spitting into a strong wind trying to keep something clean when you know you are going to get it dirty again. I use a preassure washer, some good cleaner and polish don't waste a lot of time because I know I am going to get it dirty again. They only look good for a small amount of time on or in the trailer then you get em dirty that is what they are made for.

It takes just as long to clean the machine as the ride was - never less than an hour to clean.

I spray silicone tire shine all over the underside - seems to work well for me .

And I use Honda polish in a rattle can that is believable on the top surfaces. Sorry but the stuff good !

I guess my anal retentive "Mr. Clean" reputation is what I am known for now!!!!!!

This photo was taken last month, and my machine is now 2 years old. You should've seen my RZR after this ride....It was a freakin' mess. But, now, it looks the same again, pretty much brand new.

The best analogy I have heard for cleaning the rzr is "like trying to clean the butter from an english muffin"... The bottom of these things are all sorts of nooks and cranny's.

I like to keep mine "sally" but Billnvic's just looks completely new. Very cool.
