That is a AWD circuit code. Do you have a 3, 4, or 5 below the code? You can download a manual from forum members tuf-skin or teamhog. The manual has the codes. You might try cleaning the connector.

 

Yes there is a 4 under the code. Which connectors should I be looking for?

 

4 indicates that the circuit is grounded. The connector that I had in mind is the one up by the front differential. You may have a wire pinched anywhere how ever.

 

While digging for this issue, I realized I also have no fan, or head and tail lights. Traced it to the chassis relay. Could this have anything to with the 4x4 issue?

 

Chassis relay fixed all my issues. Changed and relocated fan circuit breaker while I was at it.

 

Where is the fan or it braker located I have the same issue but my fan works but no headlights or tail lights or aux plug

 

Anyone know the difference between sub code 4 and 5?

 

mine has a sub code 3 anyone able to let me know what the 3 is for ??

Hey so when yours was doing this was it not wanting to start and just cranking over forever before it would fire? I have a 2014 xp 1000 and is throwing the same code. It will turn over for ever and after cycling numerous times it will finally fire and once started it runs and idles great. Thanks

Mine had the same code and ended up being the turf mode solenoidMaas bad! Dealership were idiots and couldnt figure it out so I did!

 

Where is the plug to?

 

Was this on a xp1000 mtmanrzr? And if so where is that located at?

 

Mine is a trail 900. I'm not sure if yours has turf mode but it's a the round black thing on the driver side rear differential. Disconnected it and no more code or blown fuse.

 

Ok gotcha man and no the XP 1000's don't have the one tire fire (turf mode). Thanks for the help though

Guys last week I had the 520207-4 code pop up on my 2015 900s. I had no head lights, but had tail lights. But as soon as I turned the light switch on (no light appeared) the engine light would go out. But as soon as I turned the light switch to the off position the engine light would come on. Miraculously a couple days later the engine light is off now. But I took the bike out over the weekend and it overheated on me multiple times. The fan is kicking one and I have plenty of coolant. Is there anyway to code from last week could be causing the bike to overheat? I've already checked and the wire to make sure nothing is pinched...

I'm at a lost if you guys could help me out I'd appreciate it I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks robby

 

I have heard of temp sensors not reading correctly and turning the fan on to late! Or bad radiator cap, possible air bubble.

Open fuse box also. Pull all the fuses and relays.Clean out with electrical cleaner then blow out. Make sure fuse connections are tight. This solved my fan issue that was making mine get hot.

C520207 sub code 4
Came on after repeatedly cranked and no start. Tried started it multiple times 2 days in a row then bought a salamander heater. Finally started 3 days later after I heated the garage to about 80 degrees.

 

Check for the zip tie. Polaris has had several TSB's from factory zipties being too tight and pinching the wires. The TBAP sensor on the 800 all had this same problem. Look at the last post in this thread.

Find the solenoid then follow the wire a few inches behind it and it is a black pluggin
