Great question. Since the LEDs on the LYNX gauges are powered separately through the OBDII port, they do not dim with the display.

No problem! I would just add something like this to the mix, I need to do this to my truck's boost gauge as well: MODULE, DIMMING CONTROL, FOR USE WITH LED LIT GAUGES (UP TO 6) Unless you think it wouldn't work?

The lighting on the LYNX is internally connected to the power, so using a dimmer controller won't have the capabilities to adjust the lighting on the Lynx gauges. Hope that helps!
