the manual is missing the chapter on fuel hookups. the only one I can find is for EFI

Everything I find is only showing efi or the carb chapter is missing

 

That's the service manual. The owners manual or parts diagram may help. Just a thought. Or I can take pictures

 

A picture would be awesome. Just can't figure out where the line goes when I put vac on it with my mouth it runs great

He was talking about the line that comes straight out of the carb. Mine isn't hooked to anything. That normal?

 

Is that both of the line going to the carb from the fuel pump?

 

Also there is one that goes to the carb neck. Where dose that go?

 

So where dose the hose on top of the carb go?

 

Ok I figured it out. The left bottom neck goes to the fuel pump vac. The top neck hose to the egr that goses to the exhaust. The right on the carb goes to the fuel/fuel filter and there is another next to that it dosnt go to anything.

 

Only all the brass fitting goes to something.

Broccoli2, I've got everything back together and now I'm having problems getting fuel to the carb. I got a new fuel pump and fuel filter and the lines cleaned. Is there something special to get it going? Dose fuel have to be in the lines to get it pumping? I put fuel in the carb bowl and it would run for a couple of minutes then stop because it isn't getting any fuel from the pump. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

I actually had the same problem for about an hour. The. I realized I turned off the gas when I took mine apart. The petcock is on the pass side just below the back of the door opening.

 

That shut off has got me 3 times.

 

Yeah i made sure that was on as well. I had a blow gun ran through the lines to make sure it went though the valve.

 

The only other simple thing and it sounds like you would have checked this but make sure all your lines are hooked up correctly and that you don't have any pinched or kinked lines. You can always put fuel back in the bowl and see if the vacuum line is sucking. i would bet you either have a bad pump, lines are hooked up wrong, or you have bad lines (cracks holes etc.)

I'm no mechanic but I am a master tinkerer

 

Ok I will double check everything when I get home and could take some pictures to make sure I have the lines hooked up correctly. The fuel pump is new but new dosnt mean it will always work. The vacuum line should be connected to the lower fitting on the carb neck correct?

 

I'm at work so I can't look at mine but I will try and have my wife take some pic's before she leaves the house....

OK, These Photo's arefrom inside the drivers compartment looking towards the rear of the RZR

#1 Vacuum line - goes to the fuel pump
#2 is a vent line - goes down open ended
#3 Fuel supply line - goes to filter than fuel pump

#3 Fuel supply line - to carb

 

Ok so on the fuel pump the top #1 is the vacuum and the bottom #3 is the fuel then this picture is wrong?

 

The picture is correct my picture is looking at it from the other side and in my picture you are looking down from the top

 

Ohh ok so I should have everything correct then. The first picture #2 line is open end with nothing connect to it? Mines dosnt have a hose there.

 

Not having a hose on the vent will be OK just to get it running
