Buy a '10 or '11?

Im going to be buying a rzr soon as I sell my sportsman and more than likely will be the trail model. Ive read the 11s have better cooling from the new front end, brighter lights, a glovebox, and i guess the trail has a h.o. motor that the other models have now too. So ive got a 9499 price on a 10 and a 10199 price on a 11. Im kind of leaning towards the 11. What do you guys think?

11 also has new fuel injection system, upgraded transmission, new speedo with temp guage and clock, redesigned gas tank, better roll bars, stronger frame and depending on when the 2010 was built if before 5-2010 it has the upgraded other tranny parts some 2010s are having break and the new metal front sprague. The resale on a 11 over a 10 would be more than the 500.00 difference soon as you take it home.

So your saying the models before 5-2010 had a better tranny?? Thought it was the other way around? When was the sprague changed out?

Around here they are getting right at $10K for 2010 models.
No i meant after 5-10.There are 2 tranny issues you will read about here if you search, one is a broken shaft on low gear, mostly hear this from racers and guys running huge tires. The same part was used from the first rzr thru the 10 model, but was redesigned for 2011. The 2nd issue is guys whose start acting up in reverse or loose low gear and this is a problem only the 10 has because of a change that was made to make there easier to get out of park on a hill, this was changed in may on the 10's. the new metal rather than plastic sprague cage in the front diff was done in march of 10. So if you buy a left over 10 just check its build date above the right front tire and make sure it was built from mid may or after to get the most revised parts.
