we had a great run. the weather started out a bit on the cold and windy side but warmed up for us later in the morning. pretty much had the trail to ourselves all day. only met a couple of atvs and 2 guys on motorcycles (one of which ended up getting pretty wet up at the stapp lakes) who were also rzr owners.

hoopers2 and his nice 2011 in one of the middle st. vrain water crossings

hoopers2 gives a small wave on the climb up to the stapp lakes

the view up at the lakes

me through the water crossing at the stapp lakes. probably a bit too deep earlier in the year but was just deep enough to soak your feet on our run

hoopers2 making the crossing

hoopers2's 2011 with a nice backdrop after making the crossing

hoopers2 picking his way through the rocks on the way back. he put the stock skid to the test on this run lol

scenery shot at one of the water crossings

hoopers2 going through the last water crossing on the way back

the aspens are turning so this was our view during the majority of the day

here is the google earth track if anyone is interested. out and back was right at 29 miles
