Its winter here and haven't rode my rzr in about a month. Made a quick trip to the neighbors house earlier. Its maybe 1/2 mile away not far at all. On my way back on the road i noticed when i let off the gas the rzr tried to stop itself very suddenly. I drove it home which was 500 feet away at that point and parked it. Both front wheels smoking and the pads look cooked....went back outside 15 minutes later now they are unstuck...which had confused me...Luckily i always have extra brake pads. But before i tear into in the morning..what am i looking for? What could be the problem? 2019 Rzr Turbo S

Possibly Ice/ slush froze created the bridge and after it thawed all is normal. I would think though, if they were smoking that heat would have cause it to release.
I have driven mine many times here in the state of Wyoming in the snow, slush and partly frozen mud and, never had a brake issue except for rocks and sand getting in there and eating up pads.

We haven't had a snow/ice event yet and the rzr is exposed to the temperatures but not the elements. I have a small garage with an open bay door but no heat in there.

Something to check that I noticed on mine is the pads were wearing into the caliper bracket which is aluminum because there is only the little piece of metal that the pads slide back and forth on, on the bottom of bracket. So the pads wear into the aluminum at the top. I wonder if this caused your brakes to stick. 🤷🏻‍♂️
