Looks like to me in the first race the 1000 left the line sooner and won and the second race the S left the line first.

 

Get a tuner on your 1k and see if it re gains its $5k advantage. Any clutching done on the 900? Stock tires on both?

 

Stoxk tires. Sock clutches. I do have a tuner for the xp1k that hasn't been installed yet.. As for who jumped who. All the races were about the same every time.

 

Where can I get one? Can you post a link? Also, will it void my warranty? I bought an extended 5-year warranty with my 900S!

 

Bikeman performance is the company. It's a bullydog gt tuner. It downloads a tune into your ecu. So it will void your warrenty, but my theory is that if I have an issue, I uninstall the tune and put the stock tune in.

TMaxx, were you impressed by the results and is it worth the price tag? Only reason I ask is that sometimes videos like that don't tell you the whole story.

 

I'm getting more and more impressed every time I ride the rig now. I do understand quick vids don't do justice and have more on the way when I get home(I'm in PA doing some business) I did 225 miles last weekend, I want to get a bunch of seat time then uninstall it and see my frown

 

That BMP tuner looks just like my HS Mini Max on my diesel. U guess they use same chip just different firmware/os?

 

I'm familiar with the h&s mini maxx on a 6.7 powerstroke. And it seems the same. It's a bullydog gt tuner system. Your custom tune is saved on a sd card

 

Any more reports on how these are working? Is it worth buying?

I got my tuner in friday loaded up the tune today and now it's giving A check engine light. When I read it it says unknown dtc and won't erase it off. Also it runs pretty bad with it on. I put back to stock tune and everything is good. Is anyone else having issues with it?

did you get the correct tune? there is a different one with or without power steering.

 

I would bet it is the wrong tune. Like stated above, there is a different tune for eps, I have about 300 miles on mine. Not one issue. It's mint.

 

Yeah I was sent a tune for the ranger 900. I loaded up the new tune and everything is good now.

 

What are your impressions of the way it runs with the new tune? Is it a noticeable difference in power?

Buddy of mine put one on his 4 seater and man did it make a difference

 

I'm really not sure on actually whp gains, it's just being able to use 100% throttle instead of 75% in the summer, and as little as 40% in cold winters.... And it revs out really quickly

 

I was only able to take the rzr out for a quick spin after putting the tune in. I had to head to work but I could tell a noticeable difference on the low end. I'll try to get more seat time with it this weekend.

 

Subscribing, the tuner is in my cart on bikemans site but I'm waiting for more feedback before I blow 7 bills. Anyone with this tuner post up your findings!

 

Any one that has this tuner, please add in. I am wanting to do it, just don't want to waste $700 that is ok. Thanks guys!!

 

my rzr is faster already, and I don't even have the tuner yet!! that's how badass it is.

Will be somewhat noticeable in the seat of the pants but don't expect a miracle.
