Best way to install harnesses

I just purched the PRP 4.2. Lap belts are self explanatory but for shoulder what should I do?

A) bolt directly to mount

B) wrap belt around bar as per instructions

C) wrap and bolt

The instructions don't mention anything about bolting it, but I will be using Grade 8.

Looking to swap out my seatbelts for harnesses. I do have the mounting points pictured above on my 4 seater - behind rear seats and behind front seats where passenger grab bar is.

Apart from having to pick up some hardware, do I need to do anything else to make the swap? Thinking maybe grab a set of those quick-release clips linked above for easier removal.

I was looking at the click 6's but they are too expensive at $299 per. I was gonna go PRP.

But I should be able to use stock mounting points on the RZR, specifically the lower mount points? No additional hardware required there?

They should come with all the mounting hardware. I went with the prp to save money, and then after a couple of months I upgraded to the click 6. I got mine a month ago for $275. I got tired of almost reaching the dash before the harness grabbed me, and also wanted the extra mobility for looking over my shoulder.

Alright so I'm a little confused as to what to bolt the top points of the harness to for the fronts. The rear is easy, I have the bar in the back like @AKStewy with the mounting points.

@LinkedXJ I can't clearly see what you've mounted yours to. Looks like you have a second bar there that I do not have.

I seen a YT video where they just wrapped the harness around the stock bar, is this a good idea or should I just get a secondary bar with mount points (similar to the one in the rear)?

Also, looks like I need 4 of those brackets you mentioned @AKStewy, the frontal lowers are the same as the rears.

Did you guys do something with the openings? Like a closeoff to close up the gap in the center console?

I bought a harness bar for the click 6 harnesses. think it came from UTV Inc.

I did nothing for the openings at the center console where the lap belt passes through.
Fabbed up a bracket for the harnesses to bolt to, putting them in the correct orientation is all i did in that region.

I dont suggest just wrapping the harnesses around a round bar. They will slide and that just isnt a secure way to mount them at all.

Just an update..

Got (mostly) everything installed. Just waiting on some hardware I had to order for the shoulder straps to the UTVINC bar. It doesn't come with the 4x bolts for this in case anyone opts into getting the bar, be prepared to snag some hardware.

I couldn't find grade 8 nyloc nuts so i just ordered 4 OEM bolts and nyloc nuts that come with the factory seatbelts. I was able to use 4 exisiting seat belt bolts and nyloc nuts for the rear bar.

The Wolfsnout grommets are badass but I don't think they'll work with the lap belt brackets since those stick up past the console. I might try making the opening on the grommets bigger, but I'll still see those brackets sticking up through the grommet. Tbh it's better looking than a huge opening there.

Looking good! I had to pickup some additional hardware to mount my Beards as well. One idea I stole from tips here also was to add some washers to the upper mounts to prevent the strap from pinching the cage, then don't need to unbolt to adjust. Not sure if this affects only some cages.
