I was a true believer in simple green for my race quads. On my rzr it doesn't seem to do as good of a job. I'm not sure why, but I'm not as impressed. I still use simple green but find myself wiping with a sponge a lot more.

That's LIQUID. I'm trying to find smaller quantities of POWDER like OP recommended. Only thing I'm finding is $300 ... that's expensive IMO!
I just ordered a gallon of the liquid from what can see just as good as powder $20.00 from the local grainger store in stock waiting on me to pick it up

Cool let us know know how it goes. I have to order online if I get it. I used slick this weekend. It worked ok but I think the mud I had on was just too thick, pressure washer couldn't get some of if off had to use my hands.

if you guys like products that spray on and wash off with no scrubbing then check out sonax wheel cleaner and amazing roll off for all rubber and engine components. Gets all the brown coloring off of everything without scrubbing one bit. Im huge into auto detailing and I follow the latest products a lot. Also these are perfectly safe for paint, rubber, and clear coats. Non toxic if your dog comes over for a lick of the rinse water and wont burn when it gets in your cuts.

here's the deal guys ...... if you have mud build up, ZEP is not going to clean it! my first post states;
1. wash with garden hose to get the heavy mud off
2. then use the ZEP product mixture and pump spray RZR
3. then pressure clean.
If you do it like that it will come out perfect....no need for a sponge or brush (NO TOUCH). been riding in mud swamp for a long time. IT WORKS!!!!!! the ZEP tt has an emulsifier when you mix it in the pump sprayer it gets warm to the touch. it has a shelf life when its mixed, works to break down mud, dirt and grease. this is not simple green. Okeechobee mud is the real deal and it WORKS! Wash and Roll

That'd be a dream come true, honestly !!!

My current process is this (short version) ... power wash all mud off, then squirt down w/simple green, then hand scrub the whole damn thing (ugh) with simple green and warm water, then power wash it again. After it dries WD40 crap out of it.

i'm not saying you won't spend time doing this just don't need to wash by hand that's the point....

the way you are doing it now is the way i used to do it just with Joy soap

Beside the ZEP, is the key to getting the RZR clean using a power washer?

Used Zep for the first time. I bought the liquid version as I didn't want to spend $100 for the bucket. I mixed the product according to directions. My rzr wasn't full of mud but it had some dried mud and dirt that I didn't get off before. Soaked dry rzr with solution and used pressure washer (cold water) to spray it down.

Results I was very impressed. There is no substitution for hand scrubbing but most places. You just can't reach. It was easy to see where I missed with the washer. The zep does a great job of keeping dirt. In suspension so it washes away easily. No visible film left after wash down. I got mine from grainger free overnight shipping to the store. Lowes carries zep products but I did not see any truck wash.

I will continue to use this product it cleans in areas that I can't reach

Cheers
Mike
