Best replacement axles

I did a thorough search of the forum, looking for an answer, and came up empty handed.
With nearly 4000 miles on our trusty 09 Std RZR, I am considering changing out the front axles, complete with bothe inner and outer joints. I may rebuild them later for spares. No lift kit or oversized tires.
On a recent full service and lubrication, I noticed a LOT of slop in the front inner CV joints, and an occasional click when in reverse with the wheel turned full to the left. We have ridden our RZR moderate to hard on rough rocky mountain trails, and these axles owe me nothing. I want to replace them in the comfort of my shop, not while we are camping.
Anybody out there have input on the good, the bad or the ugly? Money is not a factor, but I see no need to spend $300 a pop, as the factory axles and joints have served us well.

Add to my OP, I buy 99% of my parts from Forum vendors. They keep us going, so I try to keep them going. There is so much mumbo jumbo about this kind of welding vs that kind of welding. Again, I rarely take the cheap way out. I am looking for dependability from a reliable vendor.

I know a lot of guys have upgraded due to lift kits and "S" conversions, but how many guys have high mileage on their Std, and had to replace an axle? What kind of luck and what brand? I'm not against replacing them with OEM Polaris, as these have served us very well. I am just trying to avoid a catastrophic failure on the trails, as we sometimes ride really deep into the woods. Anybody?

I have 1600 miles of hardcore trail riding/rock crawling with 27" tires on my std rzr. My front shafts are perfect, but I did bust a rear cv last fall and replaced the stock rear axles with complete rhino brand axles from super atv. I like em just fine. I have a bunch of runs on them since then and everything seems great. (by the way, I realize you have way more miles than me).

My opinion is that the rear axles are at more of an angle which would apply more stress on the cv's back there...that and well in general the rear is under just plain more stress and strain unless you are hill climbing in reverse awd. I dunno about you, but i would think my weak link up front would be the plastic sprag (still origional).

So far, no torn boots, and they are still hanging in there at 4050 miles. But, I have gone through several tie rod ends and ball joints that were very sloppy, but not broken. Oddly enough, all of the bad parts are coming off of the right front. I agree that the rear axles work much harder than the fronts.
Lately, I have been feeling some tightness in the front end (even with power steering) when I turn to the right. We never jump it, but we have tackled some very difficult trails that would turn most riders away. Again, I don't fault a single item on our RZR, just starting to get into a high mileage situation and want to replace them in the comfort of my shop.

OK i lied RMR man you reminded me it started out i broke 1 stock rear axle so i went ahead and replaced both rears with rhinos. then i went to one ride and broke a rear rhino and a front stock in the same hole now i have 3 rhinos (2 in rear 1 in front) and how the rear rhino broke is still beyond me and all my buddies belief. im thinking i ripped the boot because we rode all day long (going through alot more stuff then we normally do) and we were playing in a basic mud hole and snap there went the rhino out of no where. oh well for the price and warranty i dont mind getting rhinos until the new highlifter dht axles prove to me that they are better

Ran my 09 50" through swamps , mud, snow, plowing for 2+ years on stock axles (also lifted, clutch kit, and 27" zillas at the time). Axles were still holding up great when I added SATV 1.5" forward a-arms and 30" black mambas but replaced fronts with rhinos since SATV's site and a number of posts here stated the oem's would bind with the forward arms. Since then I've put on some hard miles mudding, trail riding, and plowing. Oem rear axles are still holding up great.

I highly recommend the SATV rhino axles to anyone looking to upgrade. Fair price and great customer service. There have been a lot of naysayers about the rhino axles not holding up. My last ride was a 09 Sportsman 800HO with SATV 6" lift, rhino axles, and 32" terminators (along with a list of other goodies). It went through trail riding and swamps up to the racks in muck with no issues.
