Ok, Responding to my earlier post, I called the Polaris # Bitched a little, ok a lot.... They told me to have my dealer call them, They Warranted my belt!! It wasn't broken just glazed, I had it in for the 2nd oil change told them it smelled like a pot roast burning, after reading this post I thought I would ask.
Thanks guys Im glad they are replacing them....just tell Polaris you are going to sell your 1K and buy a Maverick! worked for me!

I'm at the Glamis flats right now and I blew a belt going down hill today. What the crap! I'll be calling Polaris when I get back on Monday. This is ridiculous. I'm not buying a new belt every time I go to the Dunes. I test drove it at camp RZR and purchased it to use it mainly at Glamis. Seems that if you only break one you are lucky. Fix it and fix it now! XP41k build date 11/12

Only because of the good people here I had a spare OEM and a spare cheapy non carbon fiber $60 gates one. ( The CF were not available had to be ordered ) The gates was just to get me home if the second one blew. Did you guys know that your monthly payment on this thing will probably go up $200 every month if you go to the dunes? That seems to be if you are lucky.

Mine is brand new, never been dirty bought for shop use I am just not ready to sell it yet. I was mostly kidding but it will sell soon.

thinking the same. Probably my last Polaris purchase. my 6th UTV, 3rd RZR.
If I wanted to be back at camp wrenching, I would have kept the turbo busa...

When I purchased the RZR I thought I ordered an upgraded belt to go with it. Instead of receiving a belt I received an upgraded clutch. Good news is that I now have a $250.00 store credit because Polaris is stepping to the plate to upgrade the clutch on their nickel. Have your service tech look into it, or call the parts and service dept at NCHOM 760-433-4333. They should be able to point you to the bulletin #.
Im going in for the upgrade and first service this week, I will ask for the bulletin #, and post it here when I get it.
