Has anyone seen or used these before. Going to upgrade over the winter and looking for options.

I am really on the fence about the Bandits or the Carl's Fox shocks.

Would also love to hear about the Bandits!

Thanks,

I'm fairly impressed with the first ones, but Ted has upgraded ones coming out shortly with even better specs. Waiting on mine!

Have no way to compare them to the Fox 2.0's, no one in our club has them yet.

Thanks, I did not know that. The only after market shocks I have seen on a 570 are the 2.0 fox.

Thanks Timmi, i hadn't been including that member because he had other problems and got rid of that machine. We can only hope that the new owner might someday find his way here, or someone can PM 570razor.
:dankk2:

edit; if your interested there are a few discussions outside the 570 that i'm sub'd to, promising to exchange/review some info once i install;

The MFG should hand me a pair, I will put them through their paces and give you all a nice big review!

Highly doubtful that would happen, but i'm willing!

I would do a complete write up/photography blog on the shipping and packaging, tech support, the directions for the install, the install, the basic trail ride, the slow rough terrain, the fast fire road, and the jumping capability of the shocks.

Ride height differences, sway bar setup on em, etc...

Let me know! :)

Hey guys, I did have the bandit shocks on my 570. I only got to use them for a couple weeks before my engine blew. I sold the shocks to Denver. They were better then the stock shocks by far, But I never got to dial them in. I think they are in the middle of a stock shock and the fox2.0. But I would really talk to Denver.

The 570 rear shocks have remote reservoirs, so they fit fine. Advertised price is $799.

So would you say they're worth waiting for?
Depends on your wallet and patience. I'd wait for them and try them. You can always sell them later if not happy; plenty of people on here with stock shocks and a budget that won't stretch to Fox 2.0's. I know mine doesn't.

As much as I would love to go with a long travel kit with Walker Evans shocks, I simply cannot afford it. But I can afford a set of Bandits so as soon as the newest ones are available I'm going to try them.

And for me, I ride it like it has an on and off switch.

I'm hoping that these have longevity!

I might be interested in a group buy.

However compared to Carl's 2.0's at $895 (with forum discount), there's not much of a price difference to the Bandits. For the extra $95, I'd be inclined to go with Carl's which seem to be tried and proven with lots of reviews on this site.

Unless we can get a group/trial additional price consideration for providing reviews and feedback, being that it is new technology...

Sorry, didn't mean to rain on anybody's parade. I was just replying to the question as to if anybody was interested in a group buy. Assuming that meant group buy = volume discount. Nothing against the shocks themselves and I agree they look pretty good, just new and unproven.

But I just got off the phone with Carl's and they gave me the $895 price without even mentioning the forum.

Or use the code at this thread at online checkout, which I verified still works:
