You can get these from NAPA Auto Parts...read on.....
The clamps are Precision brand #3415 & #3416 tell them you need the banding tool to go with them. If you are really wanting to you can get the C-clips to hold the end but it is not necessary. you can lock them down by center punching the band wrap that it slides
thru.......This will make more sense when you see the bands.
This info came from Gary (Giff -turborzr). In fact he actually sent me these clamps and the tool out of the kindness of his heart, (that's how Gary rolls). I had a boot failure when we were riding together, and he joking (I thought) said when I get home I'll have to send you the stuff to fix that, and I'll be damned if he didn't! Thanks again Gary! I tried getting them here at our NAPA but they weren't much help, next thing ya know they show up on my doorstep!

i had a 4 wheeler with 32" gorilla silverback tires and a 6" lift that would melt boots due to the angle on the cv joints. probably replaced 8 - 10 boots a year. after buying 2 cheap azzed banding tools, i went to a heavy duty zip tie. have had great luck with the zip ties, no problems whatsover. if you do buy a banding tool then buy a decent one if you plan on using it more than once.

But I'd use the pinch clamps on page 257. You can get them in your needed sizes and then just use pinch pliers to squeaze the clamps closed. Use the gap free style so you don't have an area for the grease to pass through (between body and boot).
13-15 bucks for a package of 25 depending on size.

You don't have to use the tool, I used a nice set of locking channel locks from sears to get the job done. My fronts took a different tool than my rears also. maybe because its a gen 2?
