Just curious what the average turn around time is for crank works. I sent them my crank this morning, I wasn't able to reach anyone on the phone to ask and I know others on this site have used them before. Thanks

P.S. I'm new to the site and thanks for all the great info guys...

They received mine last Friday and haven't answered the e-mail I sent yesterday afternoon but from the earlier emails we traded, they don't answer e-mails every day.
No biggie, I know they're busy. They even say on the web site that they don't like to answer the phone cause it takes them away from the work.
I gathered from an earlier post on the same topic it should take about a week to week and a half.

Welcome to the forum.

X2 on the work order. Put it in a big white padded envelope with the words "work order" on the outside.

Mstein did you ever hear anything on your crankshaft? I'm starting to think I donated mine.

I know they received it on the 13th. . . ok, I know someone named Phil got it on the 13th. :rofl3:
I sent an e-mail asking if it indeed arrived at their door but haven't called as to not seem to be a pest. I'm good though. I'm working on the body for paint right now. The garage is so full of parts I don't dare try to dismantle the suspension right now. If I don't hear something by Friday, I shall start the telephone mayhem.

Thats good to know. The tracking notice said "Phil" signed for my crank when it arrived. I'll give him a call Friday f no word. Thanks Tim.

I had the same problem. My crank sat there for 2 weeks, I filled the work order out and everything. I called and somehow my box just got pushed to the side and they forgot to even open it. Once I called, they found it and pinned it and mailed it out the same day....

I sent another e-mail last night so maybe they'll find mine and get er headed home.

They did respond to e-mails before I sent the crank. Several in fact. Not so much now. :rollfinger:

I'm just hoping it isn't sitting in some Dentist's office.

I'm going to give them another call this morning but the last two calls went unanswered.

Same stuff different day. . . no answer on the phone. Does anyone here know if they are indeed still in business?
Something similar happened to me a few years ago on a motorcycle part that was paid for but the company folded between the time i talked to them and the money was mailed.
I may give the better business bureau a call, maybe they can tell me.

I figured they were tied up. I just wish I could find out if it even made the trip to them. Keep trying I guess. I have some days off in a week and a half. If its not back by then, I'll drive out and pick it up.

I am. . . every day but they aren't answering the phone or e-mails. I am thinking they're hammered this time of year.

I'm ok, its just hard to watch all this great weather go by. I'm tired of sitting in front of the big picture window in the bedroom next to the dogs staring out into the street. They bark louder than I do so they get all the attention when cars go by.

The Harley is getting a workout though so it ain't all bad. :ride:
