Call into Autozone they will Cross reference them. I work there I looked them up earlier.

It would be awesome if they were just in stock down in Moab. You break it go down exchange for the new one and keep riding. Sounds like an ideal situation to me.

I can't wait to hear how these work out. I have a front CV that started making a little noise just on my last ride.

 

Just left our local autozone and they just typed in the pol -7023 and pol-7031 and it pulls the part straight up $153 each.

What about the 900XP part numbers?

 

Not seeing any axles for the 900 that Autozone sells. But those are the right part numbers for the 800 and 800s

My buddy just picked up a rear axle for a RZR-S yesterday from Autozone. He said when he ordered the axle, they asked for what side? Aren't they the same? I looked on a parts diagram and can only find one number listed. Furthermore, does anyone know if the fronts and rear axles are interchangable between year models for the S model? For instance, will a rear for a 2011 fit a 2010 and visa versa? I was thinking they would. I will try and get some pictures and such this weekend and post up.

Yes the rears are the same... So are the fronts...

 

Just saw the axles. The manufacturer is SurTrack part # pol-7031. Comes with axle nut, washer, cotter key, and axle retaining clip. The one my buddy bought was for the rear and measures 29 in long. There are 26 outer spline and 27inner spline.

Even though they'll be another competitor, in fairness I have to say they know what they're talking about it..which is rare with axles. For you guys that bought these, do you notice how much smaller in diameter the shaft is than the HD axles out there? There's a bit more to it and profile matters the most, but he touches on some of it in the video, and why a huge 'HD' axle shaft is basically not very good. I'd bet these hold up alright w/stock ride height...interesting thread.
