If you have 26x9x12 on all fours, where did you buy your wheels and what do you have? I'm currently looking for a good place to buy a set of 5 DWT Red Labels in 12x6 with Bighorn 26x9x12's and I'm having one hell of a hard time finding a supplier. I'm open to other wheels, I just want to stay with 12x6 on all fours to maintain 50" width.

Another option could also be the STI HD2 rims for the 50" RZR, look sharp have a lifetime warranty and can be had in 12" or 14" with the 6+1 offset to keep it under 50".

For rocks STI had a couple of tires the new Roctane Radials and the Black Diamond XTR seem pretty tuff and get good all around traction.

Info from STI here: STI's Polaris 50-Inch Trail Legal Wheel Solution

Forum sponsors carry the wheels and tires with very competitive prices mainly ATV Outfitters & Hunterworks seem to be the ones to beat.

When I search for DWT Red Label wheels, I find the light aluminum wheels that are suited for sand use or sport ATV's not utility class UTV's. They will not take the beating of rocks. They will bend and un seat the bead leaving one stranded on the trial. The steel rims that come on the less priced RZR 800 would be so much better then the DWT that I saw. I plan to mount good rock duty tires on the stock 12" aluminum rims on our 2013 for the needs of 50" riding.

Polaris seems the best place to go that I could find. Some dealers have lots of the 12" rims laying around from take offs and sell them cheap. Might call around to the larger dealers. Have heard of them going for $35 a wheel.

If you want to stick with Polaris LE aluminum 12x6 wheels you can get these from cyclepartswarehouse.com for a good price or you might check Craigslist. There is a waiting list for the 12x6's at my dealership so they may be hard to find. Everybody has the same idea as you. I put the Bighorn 2.0 on all corners on my LE wheels because I could get a 26x11x12 inch tire for the rear whereas you have to buy a 12 inch tire for the rear with the regular Bighorns. 26X9X12 2.0 on the front. I'm pretty close to 50 inch.

The standard Polaris OEM 8 spoke wheels are:

Front 12"x6" with 4+2 offset
Rear 12"x8" with 6+2 offset

Before I added a RacerTech 2" lift kit I was right at 49" on outside rim bead to outside rim bead overall width. After adding the lift kit I am at 48" wide exactly.

Now the STI HD2 rims referred to above are 7" wide in either the 12" or 14" diameter and both have 6"+1" offset. So on the front if you did run a larger diameter tire than 26" it would likely rub, however if you wanted to run 10" wide tires on all four corners (as some do) the 10" wide tire would put you back to 50" wide in the front. On the right rear the dog gone motor mount can be problematic depending on tire diameter & width. On the rear you could possibly run a 12" wide tire vs. the 10" stock tire in 25" diameter and still be 50" wide. thats what I was told when calling asking "how wide will it be" and of course the follow up you get is, "It depends on other things as well. (lift kits etc.)."

That being clear as mud and with the tire sizes offered by STI I calculate they are referring on the web page detailing the 6+1 offset rims are referring to running either thier 25" or 26" diameter tires in 9" width for front and 12" width for rear. This would theoretically put you at 49" wide in front and 50" wide in rear with that particular setup. STI offers the Black diamond XTR in 25x8x12 & 25x10x12 which is OEM dimensions, or in 26" you can go with 26x9x12 or 14" and 26x11x12 or 14" or even a 26x12x12.

The thing is there are so many possible combinations it can be dammingly frustrating on what tire wheel combo will measure exactly what, will it rub on anything, and will it actually fit through 50" gates.

Since adding my lift kit and verifying I am only 48" front and rear with factory tires and rims (2012 800 LE) it is my intention to go ahead and get a set of 14" rims with the 4+3 offset (STI HD3) and run 27x9x14 on all four corners. I should be 51" or less given that factory rims at again +2 offsets front and rear going to +3 offsets "should" make me 2" wider overall i.e. back to 50" rim bead to rim bead, and by running a 9" tire on a 7" wide rim shouldn't stick out all that far (compared to a 11" or 12" rear tire size). I like the advantage of having all tire rims the same sze, that way I can have a new spare and it doesn't matter which corner it goes on in case of a cut tire or damaged rim.

Like everyone else I dont want to drop nearly $950 on 5 matching tires and rims then not be able to get through some 50" gates when I go riding in different places.

I hope this isn't more confusing than before but the subject is really a head scratcher to figure out what you want vs what will fit and do so via mail order sight unseen on your machine.

I feel the same way Bob. I too have the 2" RT lift. I recently added their springs as well and my stock wheels still measure 50". I was really hoping they might measure 48" as some have seen. I wanted to go with 4+3 offset as that opens so many more wheel options. At the end of the day, I couldn't take a chance at not fitting through a gate out in the middle of nowhere after spending so much money on wheels and tires. Luckily, with the help of people here on the forum I found some steel wheels at a good price. I gotta admit I really like the old school look as well.

I ran the same size tire all around and experienced loss of traction and very quick tire wear on the rear tires. Plan B for me is to run the stock 12" rims with stock size tires front and rear. Will still be 50" and have the correct tires on the rear for traction. If I were to carry a spare, then I would carry a extra front tire and wheel as it would fit at any corner and get me back in.

The only time I had a flat was running the narrow tires on the rear - rock punctures. I directly relate it to the too narrow tires on the rear.

Red Labels are nice, you should be ok with 4+2 if you insist on staying narrow.

I have bought two sets of aftermarket wheels, both sets with 4+3 offsets, love them, better stance, better stability, better ride. 54" wide though.

Been running the same wheels and same tires all around since the first year, like the way it corners, and handles. Allows all corners to be rotated as long as you have a non directional tread pattern like the Bighorn does.

If you are into carrying a spare, makes that simple as well.
