RZR/RZR-S/XP/RZR4 Center Seat - Black

I'm just about ready to get this for my 570. I have a 5 yr old daughter that I am hoping to put between my wife and I. Both of us are under 200 lbs and my daughter is tall but skinny. Does anyone out there think there is enough room? Worth the cash? It's hard to tell from the pictures.

I just got the center seat for my son. He's really small but 5 years old. I would recommend getting the bench seat from twisted or any other vendor. They are double the price but you will get a a few more years of use out of it with you kid. Rally helps if you have the wide doors to give you the extra room. I can text you a pick if you want to pm me your number.
The center seat is good for a kids maybe up to 6 or 7.

My daughter is five and about 45" tall and 45 pounds. She loves to ride with me and my wife. I'm 200lbs and my brother is also 200lbs. She has ridden between us many times at coal creek and other riding areas. While it is tighter we have no problems doing this. I would purchase again given the same opportunity. My daughter has so much fun riding with us.

We have the UTV Giant center seat. Installation is pretty easy. The seat makes it somewhat difficult to get the driver and passenger seats installed as the fit is really tight, but they will go. It will push the factory belt buckle towards the center of the driver and passenger seat to the point where they dig into your hip. The addition of driver and passenger 4 points is a must do unless you are small (generally a good idea anyways). My 3 year old fits perfectly in the seat. The only other issue I have is it seems you have to tighten the 4 point harness down to the point of cutting circulation off in her legs so she doesn't slide out from under the harness during normal riding (around 10MPH). I wish the seat had a bit of a turn up on it to keep her from sliding out. The quality of the seat is really good. If I could turn back the clock, I would buy the twisted stitch bench seat. It is a little more but probably worth the difference in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to give it a shot and order the seat along with the harness.

I ordered the center seat. Delivery is scheduled for the 31st. I'm taking the family to the Black Hills in June. That probably will be my first ride where we try out the seat. I'll post my review then. In the mean time. If anyone has any tips for riding out in the Black Hills. I'm staying in Deadwood and looking for any tips.

Reviving an old thread as I could not find much information. I am looking for an economical seat (sub $200) that might allow my 2 year old daughter an option for riding in my 2012 570. I have come across at least a couple seats and unclear if they are all the same. I have seen ones from utvgiant, gearup2go, and pitsterpro and would like to know if anyone has a recommendation of one over the other and the fit in a 570. Thanks!

Hey CT,

My daughter has finally out grown the seat that I bought. So I took it out and am thinking about selling it if you are interested.

We have the middle seat, and it may be too small for a five year old. my almost three year old and 1.5 year old are perfect for it. we don't ride rough, but i'm always afraid one of them will hit the gear changing thingy (i'm a girl... don't know names of stuff). It's right between the legs of the kid in the middle. It's a lot of fun though! I'm gonna get the rear seat.

We love the 570 b/c can take it on trails.

We're gonna take it to california (replying to some other reply on here), but honestly, is anyone going to look inside and give us a ticket? I don't care. And all of our stuff is registered in a different state, so it's a non issue.

I was thinking about getting the center seat too. I have a 9 and 4 year old so that way I could take both with me instead of one at a time. I didnt even know they made a bench seat for it. Ill have to check them out. I wish they made a small 4 seat RZR that was 50" wide. Not a lot of wide trails in PA.

We logged about 80 miles this weekend, with roughly 50 of those being co-piloted by my 19 month old daughter. She's been on 3-4 trips not and falls asleep each time. Never fails...

I saw DNR and immediately thought "Do Not Resuscitate." The biggest obstacle you will have with a 19 month old is not really the weight of the helmet but the size of the back of the helmet. With proper height of the seat headrest, a helmet will make the head hunch forward straining the neck because the neck is now flex and the natural curvature is diminished. The seat back needs to be there to help prevent the neck from snapping backward. Addressing this issue of ensuring proper neck alignment with seat back vs helmet protection should be heavily considered. Maybe a bolstered back with neck and head area with less padding to keep a more natural position while also providing backward head movement support. I'm in no way suggesting that you rig something up haphazardly or stuffing a pillow behind your kid because you could compromise the restraining capabilities of the 4-5 point harness and injure you kid by ejecting them out of the RZR. (Seen this in the ER a couple times).

Not sure I'd trust a Styrofoam helmet unless specifically designed and tested for off road vehicle safety. I get where you're going with that Denver, but I couldn't with good conscience recommend this or see it recommended just for weight reduction. Head trauma is what you want to prevent. Sorry to sound like a Debbie Downer on it, just play it safe with your kid. Do homework on this. Just wanting to give you a couple considerations to think about.

Unfortunately, kids grow so fast, there isn't much market for a quality toddler-size helmet other than those. Like any bike helmet, one hit is all it's good for, replace it with a new one.

True on all accounts and most bicycle helmets are DOT approved. I just hate seeing hurt kids come in. Just make sure you play it safe, drive safely, and make sure whatever helmet you use is fitting correctly as well as the harness. Make sure whatever your kid is wearing meets state regs. Ultimately, people will decide what they will do on their own.

Kids do grow up quick, I have 5 kids myself (21 yrs old - 6 yrs old). There is time for many many rides. Helmet cost vs. hospital bill for a potential long term stay/ surgery plus aftercare due to a moment where things went badly (it's why it's called an accident, wasn't intentional) is a drop in the bucket. My 6 year old is on her second DOT motorcycle helmet in 3 years.

24 total years of Healthcare/trauma experience including EMS and Radiology gives lots of perspective on this issue.

Revivng an old topic. My first post. Just bought a 2009 800 and will buy a 2012 800 tomorrow. there are 6 of us. Initially was going to do a back seat kit but ran across the center seat option and have ordered one. I have read about the tight fit of the seat and got looking at the seats and the mount mechanism. Has anyone tried to move the original seats outward by an inch on each side. It looks doable with a little engineering. One would have to move the rear locking spike (easier on the driver side) and then there is the wire bracket that holds the seat tabs. I little simple welding would extend it outward and allow the seat to be moved.......

I have a 5 year old in the center seat with a 4point harness on it works great, but I had to mount some bmx stunt pegs to the center console because his legs were too short.Going down steep hills he'd get the gear shift in the berries, but he's all comfortable now.The aluminum pegs were only $5 on ebay any color you want.
