I’ve been looking at a arms lately and this weekend I broke an axle, so I was going to do arms and axles while I had it apart ...

Didn’t know if people were having any issues with the satv offset high clearance arms...do to it changing the angles

I’m currently on 3 inch bracket lift 33 inch bkt’s...no rubbing issues but I’d like to move the tire forward for more piece of mind and clearance...I don’t mind buying the longer rhino 2.0’s ... was just curious if you guys were running into issues still with that set up

Thanks

also Anyone running the atlas boxed a arms that mainly plays in the mud?

Seems like they might hold in too much mud and cake up with that style riding

All the reviews I see are from dunes riding and the rock crawler guys

Im in the middle of exactly this. Rears are not avail for about 5 wks (per sales call today) so rt now im doing the 3” bracket, front A arms, and ordered 2 rhino 2.0’s for the rear. Already had one goin bad anyway but there is a video they put out about axle bind on youtube. May look that up.

If you dont retain anything I just typed, know this:
The box for the A arms has a sticker “pre adjusted so you dont have to!”
Thats for the camber caster portion. Dont look at the online instructions and start meaduring and turning the pivot blocks or youll end up like me goin ?bc online instructions or listing does NOT state that intel.

So far though, they are beastly and warranty sold me. Im a crawler on 30’s moving to 33x10.5 so hoping between lift snd offset they dont rub.

And yes, it does take some time for more to post.

I’ve done the highlifter forward and rearward no axle bind with stock height but with a 3 inch lift you will definitely need to upgrade axles and yes this forum is dead everyone has went to Facebook clubs

I was afraid the atlas might be too strong and possibly break at the mounts...I’d rather buy another a arm than to do more costly damage ...but I like the uniball

I’d definitely buy the kit they sell to strengthen the frame where they mount

Hey Guys!
If you are running our rear arms, you are definitely going to want better axles. Stock axles will bind at full drop with our rear offset arms. You're cool with stock axles in the front if you want, but I always recommend going with better axles all around and keeping your stockers as emergency trail replacements. With our arms, make sure you are checking the fitment year. The FRONT Atlas Boxed arms will only work on the 2016 model. Rears are fine all the way up. The 2017+ front arms are in production right now and should be ready in about 2 months. The 2016 front arms (tube) can be made to work with RZR 1k 2014-2016 bushings, but the are easier to install on some machines than others. Some have the funny frame tabs. I hope this clears everything up. :wink I'll definitely post an update when the 2017+ arms are ready. Feel free to shoot me a pm for the weekly forum code, or for any other specific questions I may be able to help with.

And it will most likely have portals added in the near future, so I’d like to be sure to have it strong enough...just wasn’t sure if atlas was a lil overkill for mud and would keep mud packed in the back ....I was also going to go with the tie rod kit while I was doing it

Atlas arms will be perfect for you. They fit the 2015-2016 models. You won't need longer axles, but you will need better axles in the rear for sure. I recommend going with the 2.0s all around, but definitely in the rear. I wouldn't worry about holding mud. They are super beefy, but it still won't hold much more than the tubed arms would. The tie rod kit is always a great idea if you're running portals. If you get the rack and pinion, it would come with a complete tie rod kit. Just something to think about for down the road.

I see that the offset arms come with steering stops...would it be better to run longer rhinos on the front also and not use those since I have a 3 inch bracket lift ? Or do you think I’ll still be ok ordering stock length 2.0s for the front?

I’d rather have the stock length since both of the parks I mainly ride at keep them in stock in case I break one...but if longer makes it more reliable I’ll buy those

Thanks again

You will stay with stock length arms. The hubs are the same distance from the diff, so the axle length is the same. The arms are just angled forward 1.5".

BTW... We have the portals in stock right now if you're interested. They will sell out quickly, so just wanted to give you guys a heads up if you are in the market asap. They will be off and on the next month or two as we are completing individual parts.

The arms that fit the 2017 will be ready in about 2 months. You can make the current arms work with 2014-2016 1k bushings if you are desperate, but the uppers can be tight if you have the frames with the weird upper frame tab tolerance. It may require some dead-blow hammer assistance. The newer arms will be adjusted for the tolerance. The Atlas Boxed arms will ONLY fit the 2015-2016 models.

PM me for the weekly discount code. It changes every week.

Hey, just wondering if there is an easy way to tell if you have A-arm tabs that where welded in on a friday? before getting the A-arms? I want to get a set asap but don't want have to hammer them in any advice? I also considered getting the Atlas pro arms but they do not clear 32' tires for some reason and wont fit a 17... kinda a bummer their nice looking beefy arms

Slightly OT but did you ask the design guys there about the "full protection kit" for a S model?... would be a great addition for the S models that see a lot of trail action

Thanks
Hey SSGPohlman! I passed along our convo on the S full protection kit. There's a lot of interest and possibility, but nothing has been set in motion yet.
Well, i just got off the phone w another rider and as discussed, theres 3 yrs worth of 900 machines running, and you could start w the cad for the 1k and tweak it. The front bumpers im pretty positive they mount the same so 70% of it is done ;-)

Any input for the front frame support plate I posted above? Id hate to take a grinder to the brand new plate already :(

Have you tried enticing them with some hot pockets? it can be hard getting CAD guys attention some times lol

Wish I had access to a bender .... hmmm the cost of a front bumper+rear bumper+sliders+cage+Exo may make it worth it to just pick up a bender if you handy with a MIG and do your own custom parts.... tempting

But the SATV EXO would be nice for all the other people without loads of fab equipment, I really thought I would see one shortly after the XP one came out... kinda surprised it did not

Well still stoked for the offset arms to be ready.... need to get my 32's on asap

I looked at those too but few things stuck out to me.
-Satv arms are 1.25 dom and HL are just 1-1/16” steel tube and also
-the HL warranty seems to be a bit more strict like Id get a hassle out of it.
-HL’s were on avg more expensive
-And this is my personal thing: they are here in indiana and I like to support local business first. (Even if a youtube video says the arms are made overseas?)

I almost had Beck build me some a arms (hes sponsored by satv and lives bout 5 min from my house) I am headed over there tomorrow to test fit some seats and a super shorty style cage as well.

He also has the benders etc to do my 900 s exo cage like satv has for the 1k. Hint hint satv. ;-)
