Here's a different trailer i'm looking to try for my RZR (with S suspension). It's a Zieman and has inner dimensions of 5 x 8, very similar to a RZR S.

Soooooooo I was hoping you boys could tell me if it's actually a Good clear fit, and Tight fit, or a NO fit.

Thx for your help!

I have a 5x8 for my standard. Trailer is too short to put the gate up all the way. I did a little welding so the gate latches but it is at an angle. When I upgraded tires to 26" that was shot. Now I have my car ramps I back the RZR onto.

60" is narrower than a S model so you will have to strap in the a-arms too.

You'll want a bigger trailer but you can make it work if you have to.

6x10 and my gate has less than a foot before hitting rear bumper. and enough width to throw in a dirt bike or more gear

My flatbed is a 6x10. Fits like a glove. No room to haul anything extra in front or back though.

Warning Warning Warning DON'T DO IT! You'll be sorry later if you get anything smaller than a 6x10. A 10 foot trailer will pull the RZR a LOT better than a 8 foot. It puts the weight in the right place. Also, the 6 foot width works So much better. You don't have to worry about squeezing the car on the trailer, and if you get aftermarket wheels or the XP later, it won't fit at all.

Well, I hear you all......NO GO on the nice little trailer. I have a 6x8 with no rails:

I usually don't trailer my RZR, but I'm starting to get bored with my local trails and was going to start exploring a little further out. That means I was going to trailer more. The 6x8 pictured above works very well but is kinda a PITA.

Therefore, my plan was to trade for the trailer in the original post and make trailering a little easier. But since it won't fit, I'll 86 that plan.

What I'll do is add E-Trak and tire bonnets to my existing trailer which will take some hassle out of trailering for me.

OR, I may just get a 6 or 7 x 12 ENCLOSED.......stay tuned!

this little flat bed looks real good. do you want to store it in an enclosed. ? for you ? no toy hauler? the 5x8 is a pain and i have seen here in slc,ut a 6x10 with a rear gate for $925. i'm sure you dont want to be johnny dangerous like me. bahahahahha. i know "funride" will be reading this. the 6x10 gives just a bit of breathing room especially if you get wider wheels or an xp. this is my 5x10 and my way of using a narrow trailer . some of the other guys use straps to suck in the a arm. both are a pian so get a 6x10 if you aren't concerned with weight issues it's the way to go.

Personally, I prefer enclosed trailers. No stealing of stuff or road damage. Plus you got a place to go when the weather gets bad, and it sure beats sleeping in a tent. M ine is 14x6 and 6 ft tall. Planning on getting one bigger (22x6) so we can sleep in it and still park the rzr in it. Just a thought.

Rick, That's a great idea for the enclosed trailer. I've never considered using it with cots or a foam mattress as a base camp. I couldn't really justify otherwise.... Hummmmmm

Do you pull a 22' trailer with a 1/2 ton? I guess it would be fine....

Hello Grant,
I just bought a 2011 RZR S a couple of days ago in Chandler, AZ.
Today, Saturday, I went out to 7 different trailer dealers on Main st in Mesa and found the best trailer for the RZR S.
I went to Deversified Truck and Equiment Sales (480-854-7373). They sell an Aluminum trailer, 8 x 10 with a bi-fold ramp. Very nice trailer, I bought one. It is actually made in Kingman, AZ by H&H. Here is a link. http://www.diversifiedtrucks.com/pdf/hh/hh_railside_utility.pdf The bottom right pic is of the bi-fold ramp. The trailer has LED light all around the sides. Very nice trailer. $1540.00.

Check it out. Les

Les, That is a sweet azz trailer for $1500 with the bifold rear door.

Grant, What's the problem with the trailer you have? I've got a similar trailer that has a platform for ATVs, but it's too narrow for the S, so I just use ramps. It's not that much more work. What are you finding is the PITA part? I keep a little lock in the truck and lock the ramps inside my bed.

Edit: I just noticed you said "What I'll do is add E-Trak and tire bonnets"....what's that going do?

I have a PJ utility 8310 (6.5 x 10) fit nicely with enough room for gas, tools or what ever.
For me I have to modify my trailer to fit the RZRS & my TRX450r (for my Son).

Here is the 8310 PJ;

Les, I drive thru Kingman every once in a while and see those trailers where they are manufactured and they are sweet! I'd definitely dig one of those!

Jim, The pita of my trailer is the actual loading, unloading, and tying down. My trailer doesn't have a fold down ramp but has two semi-heavy steel ramps you carry to the back. Also, the tie downs are not in the best locations for a RZR. I figured a decent trailer with rails all around and a fold down ramp would be way more convenient.

Since I'm keepin'er, adding E-trak solved half this. I might have a fabricator devise a folding ramp, but not sure yet.

Here's a pic of the e-trak and bonnets. Infinite anchor locations and secure as hell.

OK, I've looked at those too. My little aluminum trailer is about the same size as yours. I like it because it's easy to move around by myself. But yeah, the tie points suck on it. I've been fighting them for years. BTW, I use aluminum ramps...light and easy to throw in the bed when done.

Don't forget your spare tire with that little trailer. I guess if you got a flat, you'd just have to drag it on its axle until you got home....sparks shooting off the rear :rofl3:
