I just picked up a used 2012 RZR from a dealer yesterday and was giving a check through this morning and noticed the air filter cover appears to be siliconed sealed. I can't get it off to inspect. This RZR does have a snorkel kit installed. Is this normal???? How to check air filter?

You will need a thin blade to break the seal of the air box. Undo the clamps, slide the blade into the seam and work it around the cover. Pry with your fingers and it will eventually come off.
Pull the old filter off, get a flashlight and peer into the intake tube. You are looking for dust! Insert a tack rag or clean cloth into intake, take out and inspect for dust.

If clean, install a new air filter. Since your cover was siliconed you will probably need a new gasket too

I would peel and scrape all the silicone off both halves of the airbox, put I'm new gasket, then seal with a film of grease. It will make it a lot easier to check/change you filter in the future.

Check your oil and air filter frequently !

Enjoy your new ride !!
