2018 XP1K T&R the hardware is a dark silver

2018 XP1K Highlifter the hardware is black

I chose black as it's easier to upkeep, and makes a nice combo with the silver. I definitely did not want blue, way too much color IMO

I have the same machine and all the parts im buying are black as well. Not into making it a fashion show with matching colors. I got black tree kickers, black bumper, black seat belts, black mirrors, gonna have solid black seats, etc.

 

Yep, and those rear radius bars are Beefy. Are they worth the $172 each? I bet they are, solid bar and no hein joints is what I liked the most.

Any chance you could dig up the part #s for the A-Arm bushings? Seems like i'd rather buy those and put in the high clearance a-arms and leave the bushings in the OEM XPT a-arms.

I wanted to add, that this part is mislabeled on some XP Turbo parts diagrams and correctly labeled on the XP1000 diagrams.

 

This upgrade doesn't change the camber/toe/alignment at all? The high clearance arms/bars are the same length eye to eye as the OEM turbo arms/bars?

 

Nope, doesn’t change anything. All OEM parts that match. No need to set heim joints on radius bars or setting camber like SATV lower arms.

Good find and info, trying to get the silver off the 2018 model in high clearance arms and radius rods. How did you find the codes for high clearance and colors. I'm on Rocky mountain and see choices but can't chose specific model. Didn't see that option on partzilla either.

You don’t want to order the 16 arms for a 17 up Rzr. Bushings are different. Order the ones for the 17 or 18 in red and all will be good.

I'm with you...I hated asking for a part number for the bushings from the OP, but navigating the Polaris parts schematics seem to be a little more involved than looking for motorcycle parts. Guess I know what i'm looking for on motorcycles before i even start looking.

Props to the OP again for laying it out so well.

 

High lifter has more ground clearance. Would stick with R and t edition

 

No difference in the A-Arms except color.

And as was pointed out, Polaris changed the bushings in 2017, therefore, 2016 won’t work on 17/18.

I have been running those arms for about 5000 moles and the only issue is the rear arms are not rebuildable when the bushing goes out you have to buy another arm mine lasted abut 5000 mi and I changed them to ZBROS high clearance arms I reall liked the beefyness of the rear but was bummed when I could not rebuild I still run the fronts and Trail Armor makes a uhmw skid for the high clearance arms and they fit the front A arms fantastic

 

5000 miles? It'll take 10 yrs for me to rack up those kind of miles.

I'm thinking i want new ball joints to put in the new high clearance a-arms, if i can decipher the model codes and get the right ones.

 

I have a extra set of futv high clearance arm guards if someone needs them. I’ll sell them for half.

I folded one of those arched a- arms up while rock crawling at Green Acres in Clayton, Ok. I hit a ditch while on the way back to the truck. I replaced them with ZBROS arched a arms

 

Operator error... hardly the fault of the a-arms

Finally got and installed my rear high clearance radius arms...so much for Partzilla and their fast shipping. I'm still waiting on 1 of the A-arms.

But man, those rears are definitely the shit. Solid steel, 1 bar weighs 10 lbs.

The right lower nut on the bottom at the frame is a muther to get to. Before i attempted to take the nut off, i made sure i could get a finger or two in there. Literally had to lube up the top of my hand/knuckles. I got stuck a few times and had a brief moment of panic. lol. Those oem radius arms were definitely put on before the engine went in the frame. If you got skinny, long fingers you'll probably be ok. My 2XL hands in gloves made it tough.

You’re not kidding, that was a tough one.

 

Any advantage of these a-arms compared to the 2” forward offset high clearance a-arms except for price? Or is there an OEM 2”offset arm from another model that fits the turbo?I wasn’t in the market for high clearance a-arms but this thread changed my mind.

It’s a shame about the non serviceable radius rod bushings. If they were serviceable, i’d look more into them. Appart from that, they look awesome.

There are no OEM forward A-Arms.

As for the rear radius arms, it would take a lot to wear then out. But it is what it is I suppose.

 

Finally got my other A-arm from 'slow'zilla.com

Install was easy, easier than the radius arms due to the location of the nuts at the frame.

 

Maybe this thread caused a nationwide backorder.... LOL

 

For around 300$cdn, it's worth a try. I'm going to my dealer to get an update on my new xpt that's on order. If they match partzila, or close enough, I'll have no choice but to buy me some. Darn! Thought I spent enough already!

 

Thats from the canadian 2018 rzr catalogue. Keep in mind, the advertised kit comes with all bushings and ball joints. A single arm, with no bushing is 162.49$cdn.

But the advertised radius arms in the catalogue dont seem to fit the 2018.

The OEM radius rods are spaced out from the frame roughly 3/8” inch compared to stock.

Your bumper would need to accommodate that extra space.

 

I did mine about a month ago. Bought from Partzilla- Total came to $570 with lower front arms, lower rear rods, spacers, bushings. Easy install and happy so far!

 

Looks nice ! Thinking of doing the same thing
