I would like to add a third brake light on my roof of my rzr i found the wire for the parking lights but i can not find the brake light wire,I tested the wires going to the tail light with a test light and can not fiqure out how to make the brake light work.

You need a relay the brake lights run off a negative switch not a positive .I used 2 led lights for mine .

There's a factory plug near the top of the left rear shock.
