You probably won't like my advice but the Mavic Air or Pro would have been a better choice.
Did you get the combo with the remote?
You'll still have a blast with it
Join a forum and and read all the do's and dont's before you fly
If you're planning on action video following your rzr I would consider getting goggles.
I just got back from a trip and took some amazing whale videos.
I couldn't have done it without goggles

Done and done. With the Air coming out the spark combo is less than 500.
And as you point out that the FAA have very strong flight rules for drones. It's more than just unboxing.

We just got back from Puerto Vallarta and working on the videos
This was with a Phantom 3 Advanced

 

Here's a quick rzr video up in Williams, AZ.
Wife was driving and I had goggles on in the passenger seat. @Bix has some great videos too.

 

I have a mavic pro. It’s amazing the footage you can get.

Added a landing pad to the roof of my Trail..
The dust on the trails made it hard to take off and land.

I just got a DJI Mavic Pro this Christmas. It's been too cold to get it out for the RZR but I took it to St Lucia on vacation and was able to get some decent footage. Looking forward to taking it while out on the trails this season!
