A-arms and trailing arms, which are the best?

Wondering if anyone can give me their opinions on aftermarket A-arms and trailing arms? Or narrowing kits?

I race hare-scrambles through tight woods and XC-1 GNCC races. This last weekend at the Ironman my stock tie-rod bent mid race, trying to finish one more lap not being able to steer very well, I took out a tree with my stock a-arm ripping it up, and then catching a tire with my rear driver side tire bending my trailing arm trying to get out of the woods!

I have Elka Suspension and want to avoid having to modify these shocks.

We sell a pretty solid tie rod kit perfect for what you're doing. Our kit is much stronger than stock, so it's unlikely to break if you just catch something. And it shouldn't bend either. However if you crash hard enough to break something? Our aluminum heim will break first. Takes 2 minutes to replace and get back to racing again.

Suspension wise, I suggest going with Zbros, as they make some of the stronger high clearance parts. If you want the absolute strongest, HCR can do a stock width kit.

If you want to keep your shocks you can't really narrow the suspension, but you can change the wheel offset to bring the wheels/tires in.

If you want to go over it in detail, please call me at 303-400-0205. Happy to walk you through each option out there, even if it is something we don't sell.
