I ripped open the tabs where the lower a arm attachs i had some steel washers welded on the tabs the welder claims it is as strong as it was what do you guys think? Thanks for your help

A common fix and, if done well, you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply, i hope he did it well, first ride on my 2013 800 s le, at least now i know how to take the front suspension apart. OAK TREE YOUR IN MY WAY, james

cheap washer or hardened washer? few people think of that.
if you have to go washer route choose the smaller size and drill thru 8mm.

If all I had was minimal shops skills I would pass on the dinky washer and find some 10 or 12 ga steel. drill thru 8mm so your OE bolt will be tight.
have the bolt in place when you tack weld. eyeball and you will not be concentric.

hardened washer, the bolt fits perfectly and it was in place when he tacked it so i hope we are close, thanks for the reply, j
