Do you hear the fuel pump kick in when you cycle the key?
How long did it run rough? and what temp was the engine?

I believe the fuel pump is working. I have fuel up to the fuel rail. The temperature reading but the machine is cold. Brother only ran it for two minutes, then shut it off because it was running rough. I have no volts at the two wires at either fuel injector. Took the fuel injectors out, hooked up to a nine volt battery and can hear it popping. Tried blowing through it, it was hard but I got air through it, I believe.

Why don't have I have volts at the fuel injectors when cranking.

Fuel injectors get 12 volts from outer space (ecm i would assume) and the computer pulses a ground to fire them.... with the key on you should have 12 volts on one wire to both injectors. If you have a test light hook it to a 12 volt source and then ground it through the other injector wire if they are pulsing the test light then you can do what I did and run a jumper from the tail lights 12 volt hot from ignition and run it to the injectors to bypass the loss of power.

I realize this is an old thread but since it was bumped today.. ...

You can have fuel but without full pressure a fuel injection system won't function properly. Even a 2-4psi drop is enough to affect some systems.

I know my 1000 requires 58psi. It got a new pump last year, and that's very common especially with ethanol.
