Hi. Where do I mount the sub-strap on a set of DFR harnesses? Also, do I need to remove the factory belts to mount the harness lap belts? Thanks for any input you can give.

You can mount the sub strap around the square frame tube under the seat where the seat "feet" mount under the skinny round bar. Yes, you need to remove the factory lap belts and install you 5 pt lap belts in the same place. Its been a while but I believe you will end up having to buy 1ea class 8 nut to do the install. Also, you will need to pull the plastic push/pull rivets out of the black plastic body molding to allow you better access to the lap belt attachment point.

I don't think there is a need to drill a bolt.....but I think both will work....and I know both of these options are better than what you have in the first place

I do think that I had to trim a little plastic though

I just got new 5 pt Crows with sternum clip, switching from the 4 points. Going to try to install mine this afternoon.

You can mount both sets of restraints, at least I could.
Just get to it and you will figure it out.

i just got 2 5 pts harness from rzr hqs and boy are these things heavy! seriously they must weigh 10 pounds each... lets add it up and soon will be at 1400 lps like the can-am sxs soon ! ;-)
