570 won't crank/start. Need help

I was out riding all day and when I got back to the house and tried starting the 570 to take it off the trailer it wouldn't start. When I turn the key the fuel pump kicks on like normal. It just wont crank and it is acting like I am not putting my foot on the brake pedal. One time during the ride it did this but after making sure the shifter lever was in park and turning the key off and back on it worked. I'm 99% sure this is just a sensor that is preventing the Rzr from starting. Does anyone have any tips/advice/good voodoo that can help me out here? My guess is if I knew how to bypass the brake safety switch I could get it to start. Does anyone know where that is and how to do that?

Thank you in advance.

I suspect my brake switch has failed too, but in the on position as my brake lights are on all the time. The switch is behind the driver's seat in the wheel well, on the frame just in front of the clutch cover, where the hydraulic line splits in a little block with a wire hooked to the top of it. Haven't had time to research it more yet, hope this helps.

Safety switch is located just in front of the rear drivers side wheel. There is a brake line with the switch attached. 2 wires on top. To test to see if the switch is working depress the brake and see if the brake lights come on. If they do this is not your problem. If no brake lights you can jump across the 2 wires on the switch and rzr should start. Make sure you are in park for safety.

Both of you guys are awesome. I went out there and just wiggled the thing with the 2 wires and the RZR started right up. So he question is, is it just dirty from riding and need to get cleaned. Or is it bad and needing replacement?

That's something you have to answer. Are the contacts dirty? Is it covered with mud? Are the brake lights working properly?

It won't hurt to removed the wires and clean the connections. Maybe even put a LITTLE dielectric grease on the connections. If the problem continues you will need to change the switch. Not hard to do but there is a chance of getting air into the brake lines if not done properly.
Glad that was the issue, easy fix!

I haven't been back out to look at the Rzr since Sunday. Next time I'm out there I'll look at the lights.
