4-pt harness latch options

I am planning to get 4-point safety harnesses pretty soon for my RZR. I’ve only used them a couple times as a passenger, and found them to be a real pain to put on. I see that PRP makes a 4.2 harness with an ‘automotive style’ latch. I like the idea of that. What would be the down side of that latch, vs the traditional racing style latch?

I would think they would be more likely to jam up with dirt ... although Polaris uses them ...

I also have started to not like the sewn-in shoulder harnesses that are attached to the lap belt. That makes the shoulder harness much wider at the bottom so they do not fit smaller people as well.

We use and sell 100s of the Auto Latches for all applications. Never had anyone tell us yet about mud or dirt. When we clean ours we always hose the latch off and every few rides shoot some WD 40 in them just for preventative maintenance - JT

The down side is that they are so much easier to use, that my wife will use them without me nagging her! Seriously, I had a cam-lock style previously that was such a pain.

I have them also and have never had an issue a bit of care and they r fine. I am a pilot an I pull 2 belts over my shoulder and they secure in a lap belt connector. It a very secure 4 point connection that retracts so getting into and out of the seat is easy. Why can't a company make some thing like that for us Rzr folks
