I and others have certainly been better than 2 feet with no issues, have it checked.

 

The first one that broke the dealer just said that it was just a bad part so I said okay I can see that now that the 2nd broke today I just don't know?

 

I was thinking the same as your dealer-defective part. Two in a row makes it seem like there is a stress point somewhere or something moving farther than it should.
Do you have a photo of where the break is?

 

Do you let off of the gas before you land?

 

Yep I broke both rear axles racing on a mx track and didn't let off the gas once. That was a while ago an dlearned to let off when I land and have never had a problem since and I am always airborne.

 

i get more than 2 feet all the time and have 28's. i have yet to break an axle. not saying i won't, but i know when to let out and when to get back in the throttle.

 

yea i let out its full throttle on the way up then let out on the landing

 

Almost 1400 miles on mine and the only issue I have had is the rear axle seals leaking.

 

do you jump any hills?

 

Yeah, the only one's I've seen breaking are people that seem to keep the gas pinned when they land...

I've done a ton of jumps in mine already, and haven't broken a thing... I make sure to let out of the gas as SOON as I leave the jump.

 

I jump mine a lot and have had no issues with my axles...always let off right after take off......

 

i air mine out like it's got the full long travel treatment. even though it's stock suspension, lol

 

My right rear axle broke today, no jumping involved just hoping up on a rock. Also I know of a other green rzr in the shop right now with a front axle broke

 

Well I don't know its not like I just started jumpping hills or something I've been racing since I could walk I'll just get it fix and try again but if it happens again there will be another rzr for sell!

 

Yeah, because selling it is a better option than just getting the Gorilla axles and fixing the problem for good...

 

I'm from a small town of 280 people there are three RZRs in town

One guy broke his L rear at about 600 miles.

I broke my left rear at 94 miles, had it two months.

Polaris rejected the warranty claim on both of them

 

That is weird i have not had any issues with mine either on stock suspension done some decent jumps and stuff i would be curious to see where the axels are breaking. as a side note as said before if you dont let off the gas before you land then you will break them

 

I'd still like to see a photo AND I have a very hard time believing the claim was denied. The couple I've seen broken since May were covered.

 

Is Gorilla the fix? Are they all they say they are? Will spend the money if they are the fix. My 1st axle was covered, and the dealer said this one is covered to. Thank you

 

yep broke both my rear axels this weekend going 3/4 throtal up a ruff trail this is only the second time i have used it the first time i used it the gas pedal stuck wide open riding in the snow caused me to bump a tree with right front tire and bent my frame not my controll arm but my frame 3 inches bottom line polaris rzrs are like the chinise 4 wheelers you can buy for 500 bucks

 

I have broken 5 axles in mine. I broke 4 rear and one front. I was climbing a hill this past weekend and broke both rears at the same time.

Took mine in yesterday with the right rear axle broke and my warranty ends in six days. Havent heard if it will cover it yet. They told me that if the cv boot was not torn , then polaris would cover it but if it was torn they would not. It wasn't torn when the axle broke, but having to drive it back twisted the boot all up - hope it didn't rip didn't look close enough. Still in suspense and under the mercy of the mechanics. All depends on how they wright up the warrany claim.

 

When I broke mine racing motocross, I took my old axles off and brought them in and the service guy at the dealership just handed me two new ones. Now that's service.

 

ive had mine at least 3 feet in the air, but i have a sandrail and know not to gas it on the landing, they will break axles or strip gears too... never broken anything..

 

Got it back fixed and yes the warrany covered it. Took a look it the axle it was a clean brake will post pics soon

 

We had both front axles replaced at 23 miles due to the cages breaking and we have one making noise again at 60 miles.

 

If you land with the gas on ..they'll break....All of em..

 

Hmm, does gorilla stand by their 1 year warranty hastle free?
