Depending on changes you've made to your machine it will require different springs and weights, just call the number on the site and a specialist will tell you which parts you need and have it preconfigured to you for install.

So how the heck does this work? They inspect it to see if its bad? What if they say it looks fine, then as you put miles on it , it goes bad over time? Makes zero sense to me.

Let me know what you think of it once you install. Reading a lot of mixed reviews on stm. But considering the primary clutch

Mine is going to the dealer today, I guess it's got something to do with holes that are used for balancing being in the correct location or not. We'll see.

I bought a 2021 turbo s the day before the stop sale was issued and was scheduled to pick it up the next day.
Such a bummer.
Hopefully it’s a quick fix.

They inspected mine, and said it is good to go. Didn't even have to take it off the trailer. Also the dealers owner said that Polaris is giving a 2 year warranty extension for the clutch and a 1 year extension of the factory bumper to bumper warranty. No paperwork or anything so take that with a grain of salt.

Wow . If someone can keep letting us know on the updates what is happening that is great guys. Itd be good to know the exact problems So its something to do with balancing? Itd be great to get some solid answers and the rumors of extended warranties.

my dealer just called. They said that Polaris will be shipping out a part for the fix, but they don’t know when they will ship.
Hopefully soon.

Greetings,

Was at the dealer today picking up accessories that finally came in that I had ordered in July. The service department reviewed the Z-20-07-A/B issue and fix in detail with me. On the (6) towers on the primary clutch, the depth of the holes can be right at the fatigue point of the material housing. If the holes are too deep, there is a high likelihood of the tower breaking or shattering at the depth of the hole under certain stress conditions (as explained in the recall notice). If the holes are at the proper depth, no fix is required. As of yesterday, dealers will be receiving a gauge tool to check the dept of the holes. The fix, if required, is a primary clutch replacement, which will NOT be stocked to dealers by Polaris and will have to be ordered on a case by case basis by machine VIN! ETA of new clutches is 4-8 weeks from today as told to me by my dealer, but could be sooner.

On a good note, the dealer showed me an email from Polaris that all factory warranties on 2020 RZR XP Pros will be extended to 1-year from date of purchase (email did not indicate 2021's though). It is unclear if the warranty on the entire clutch system will be extended beyond that to 1-year from time recall mitigation is applied, or as part of the overall vehicle warranty extension. I was told we should be receiving correspondence explaining the status.

If anyone has additional details, please provide.

My XP Pro is scheduled to go into the dealer next Thursday for clutch, tender springs and seat belts. Per my discussion with the dealer, is that the issue on the primary clutch has to do with the balancing holes and it is an inspection and new primary clutch if needed. They didnt go into as much information as discussed above. If clutch is needed I hope it isnt 4-8 wks.

4-8 weeks awesome, I know I don't have a PRO, but my 21 Turbo S is def on this list. 4-8 weeks or more is half our riding season out here in the Desert.

Max H has another thread about the XP PRO recall. Another recall ...XPPRO type clutches.

Max has posted pictures of what to look for concerning balance holes. Appears exact location of the balance holes is of concern.

Sent pictures to dealer and appears that my clutch is fine but I need to take machine to dealer for sign off on inspection

It arrives Monday. I ordered it Wednesday, fast turnaround and I choose ground shipping (cheapest).
