Please only vote if your clutch fails/passes the inspection.

Either I guess. If you have seen the tool it doesn’t take muck to know ( basically) where you can and can’t have the holes. I’m waiting for the dealer to let me know before voting. Only because I haven’t taken possession of mine. Like many others I own a machine that can’t leave the dealership.

Mine failed test on one of three sides - two holes inside measured area. Claim submitted to Polaris - hope not to long for parts.

Update - claim on hold - new testing protocol being worked on - hope to have update today - but claim was rejected yesterday until they have new proceedure.

The clutch just lets go/ slips. I can smell belt I took the cover off blew it out cleaned and took it out to try again. Same problem I have about 10 hours on it and 25 miles. it feels like it would burn the belt off of it if I kept my foot in it. I Roll on 20mph short 3 sec WOT burst belt smoke and slip .I checked clutch alignment it looks good.

I’ve got a 21 S4 and it’s worked flawlessly so far. Not sure on hours/miles but it’s been on 3 weekend trips thus far. I haven’t pulled the cover to check it yet.

Edit: just checked my clutch, it passes.

Got mine inspected today...FAIL. Told me the clutch was put on order and they would call when they come in. Ride Now told me the first delivery is approximately the end of October. Not sure how many they will get. They will call me if I get one of the first shipment. No other timeline after that.

Mine passed. 2020 Base model Pro bought in June, only had one drill hole and it was not in the “danger zone” I work long hours so had to drop it off Saturday for the appointment today. It was kept in a storage shed while it waited so no big deal leaving for a week. Saturday’s they are short handed but the mechanic that called me today said since I had the clutch cover off and I already knew it was good if he was there Saturday he would have just checked it on the trailer for me. Small town dealer we have been dealing with for a long time. Great to deal with every time we go there for anything. Cozzy’s Polaris in Marinette WI

Couple weeks ago I hit up my local dealership online just to see if they'd match Abernathy's price. To my surprise they did, of course giving me the sales pitch "you have to get it today for that price." So I go down there and the salesman tells me I can't pick it up after all because there's this recall he didn't know about. Ok nothing I can do. Polaris hadn't even issued their first fix yet. A few later days once I see they have their first check I call back and ask if it failed and am told it did. So I wait another week until yesterday and call the service manager just to check when they might get parts. He tells me they are back-ordered until the 11th. 2 hours later my sales guy calls me back and says come get it it's ready to go. Being confused I go down there and talk to service. "Oh we mixed up your VIN with the other on the lot. You're's is fine." So literally the whole time it was never bad. Took it home and took off the cover. Only one drill mark in the entire thing and so shallow it's not even past the angled part of the drill tip.

So as it stands, the x3 and rzr pro have the same amount of stop rides... Polaris is lucky enough to have it happen during this b.s. covid... So yes it is understandable to have some delays.. just like everything else right now

One last note.. can am sold 2300 recalled units vs. polaris 15000ish units..

Point is stuff happens... To ALL manufactures... Yes it sucks

Actually the PXP has had two stop rides plus two service bulletins. Tender springs, ride command screen, seat belts and now the clutches. The plandemic definitely isn't helping with parts manufacturing which definitely sucks for all of us.

RZR Pro XP 4 clutch failed recall inspection. Just took it to the dealer and found out. They said it will take 3-5 days to get a clutch in. What makes the primary clutch fail inspection? I had a belt failure and it busted the plastic plate behind the pulley.
